  The cabin was great. We had six people plus two day guests and there was plenty of room. Had everything we needed. Leavenworth is a nice 20 minute drive; the location is peaceful and quiet.

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  Whispering Pines had everything we needed and more. The location was perfect. The only (small) downside of our stay was that the kids were excited about sleeping in the loft but the air mattress was not working.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whipering Pines. Weather conditions were challenging. We enjoyed all of the snow, but wow was there a lot of snow. Any hinderance that the conditions caused were unusal for the area and nothing that anyone could do anything about. Lost power for a bit, but the wood stove did the trick to keep the place toasty. Driveway was inaccessible, but again if you get 41" of snow in a couple of days you have to expect that. A beautiful location, and we would stay their again.

  We enjoyed an absolutely perfect Christmas vacation at Whispering Pines Lodge (photos don't do the cabin justice). The layout was perfect for our multi-generational group, as our two young children could sleep (and wake) downstairs near us without disturbing their grandparents. The cabin is quiet and secluded, but close to Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee State Park which provided great sledding opportunities for the kids and shopping for the adults. Kitchen is welll stocked and we enjoyed the video library. Owners were helpful and responsive and had even decorated the cabin with a small Christmas tree and lights. Hated to leave!

  We love this place! This was our second time staying at Whispering Pines. The first time was in the summer and now this time in the winter. Very comfortable and spacious. We'll be back again for sure!
