****LUXURY BEACH HOUSE**** Gulf Breezes is a 3200 sq ft vacation retreat that features 5 full size bedrooms + a private 2-bunk roomette, 4 baths, a private pool (optional heat available-can heat to hot tub temperature), private courtyard with outdoor fireplace, gulf views and is located just one block to the beach with private beach access! The home is professionally decorated with many new furnishings. You will enjoy the resort like feel of the tile floors, seagrass carpets, gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless appliances. Wireless internet is available through out property.
From the high end cookware to the designer bedding and pillow top mattresses, this home has been furnished to appeal to the most discriminating renters. The two story foyer/ family room and high ceilings throughout add to the home's spacious feel. In addition to your own private pool, the home is directly across the street from one of two pools and a "Grassy" park area in a gated neighborhood in the upscale Frangista Beach area of Destin.
You are within walking distance to several resturants including Whale's Tails and Pompano Joes, a favorite among locals and visitors. One of the largest and newest outlet malls is only a five minute drive by car. The popular Bay Towne Wharf is also only minutes away! Legendary Marina, a full service, upscale marina to launch and dock your boat is located approximately three miles from this beautiful home.
First Floor features:
Two story great room includes sectional leather sofas & leather loveseat, fireplace, 60 inch big screen TV, DVD, & Playstation II. Dining room has table seating for 10 and 2 counter stoolsat bar. The 'Woody themed Surf Boat House' bunk room on the main floor has two sets of bunks (4 twins) plus futon (opens to a double bed), TV & Nintendo system so the little ones or teenagers can have their own space. A full bath is located off the main floor hallway. The main floor Master bedroom (1 of 2 master suites) with a comfortable king bed, private bath and glass doors to the private outdoor pool. The pool features water fall spill overs and optional heat. A poolside courtyard includes outdoor fireplace, stainless gas grill, tables and chairs with seating for twelve, There is an additional seating area surrounding court yard fireplace. There is an outside wash down shower located in the courtyard area. Steps from courtyard leads to an upstairs sunning deck with ocean view.
Second floor features:
The Master bedroom suite with king bed features an in suite sitting area with TV & DVD/VCR, a spacious private bath including large tile shower, spa tub, dual sinks, glass doors to the sunning deck. The sunning deck overlooks the private pool & courtyard, has a small Gulf view and is appointed with sun lounges and a table and chairs with steps leading down to the private courtyard. A beachy decorated bedroom with a queen bed is located off the second floor hallway as is a large bedroom with king. A small private bunk roomette with bunks (2 twins) is located off the second floor hallway. Across from the full bath in the large second floor tiled hall is a desk area with a large mirror and lights that can be used to set up a computer and mini office or used for hair drying or a makeup area.
Pools: private pool with waterfall spillovers and optional heat (can be heated to hot tub temperature in fall/winter/spring), two additional pools in subdivision with one heated and one unheated.
Grassy common area between house and subdivision pool for playing horseshoes, ball games, badmitton, etc.
Beach Access: one block to private access; walkways with coded gate access & cross walk at stop signed intersection make it a pedestrian friendly and easy trip from a private gated neighborhood in the upscale Frangista Beach area of Destin.
Bedding: three kings, one queen, six twins, one futon (pillow top mattresses). Sleeps 14 in beds/18 total. Bunks are solid wood with built-in safety rails.
Home is child/toddler friendly. We have high chair, pack and play, jogging stroller, and safety gates available at no additional charge! Beach chairs, beach toys, with a wagon to help you get to and from the beach are located in the garage. You can also enjoy use of the bikes. Our group stayed the at this house in April 2011. This is a great rental in a great location! It met our needs completely. Fully stocked kitchen was a plus. The heated pool really made this the place to stay when the weather is still cool. We look forward to staying here again.
