  Where to begin? This place is an absolute gem! “Caribbean charm” doesn’t begin to describe this sweet little villa on a quiet beach in Nettle Bay, right at the water’s edge. We played in the waves every day. Sitting on the deck at night, talking, sharing some wine, and listening to the soothing sound of the waves, the ocean breeze rustling the palm leaves and thatched roof of the tiki hut…it was seriously habit forming! We weren’t on our honeymoon, but Mireille’s place is certainly honeymoon-worthy…romantic, romantic, romantic! For us it was heaven. We were able to walk to most everything we needed, and there are several awesome beachfront restaurants very close by – including one right next door. There’s a fantastic bakery, quick shop type store, laundry, and pharmacy all within walking distance (the big grocery stores are a bit farther away). We do recommend renting a car because everyone should experience driving on St. Martin (it’s FUN!), and there’s lots to see and do on this special island. Parking at Mireille’s is right outside the door, making it very easy to bring in groceries, etc. Many units we previewed did not offer this convenience. Everything you need is there, it’s very clean, and Mireille was extremely helpful with suggestions for restaurants and other island attractions. We can't wait to come back, Mireille, and we're staying longer next time. A lot longer. :-) Merci.

  This was our first trip to St. Martin and it could not have been more enjoyable. Mireille's unit was just as described and pictured on this web site and very clean. The WIFI was great & fast with no problems. The outside area is set up like a small garden with palms, plants, & a thatched roof for shade. The pool is just a few steps from the patio and was always clean & warm. Mireille was a great hostess who met us upon arrival. She had many suggestions as to what to see, activities to do, and very good restaurant ideas. The location was ideal being in the middle of all things. It was a 5 minute drive to Marigot with it's fun market, shops, restaurants, etc and a 15 minute drive to airport on the Dutch side. All the beaches are beautiful on the island and some, Baie Rouge a favorite, were within a few minutes drive of the condo. There is a wonderful French bakery, as well as some good restaurants, a pharmacy, and a small "kwik trip" grocery all within walking distance. There are also many regular grocery stores, one only a couple miles away. We would recommend renting a car so you can enjoy the island and all the diversity that it has to offer. We hope to go back to St. Martin again and certainly would contact Mireille about staying at her "Charm by the Sea" place. Our expectations were completely met and then some.

  My husband and I spent a week at Mireille's place on Nettle Bay in January 2013. This was our first trip to St. Martin and we could not have picked a better place to stay (even better than the pictures describe!). The condo is nicely decorated, incredibly clean and comfortable, and has every amenity you could think of. An end unit, the condo is surrounded by palm trees, is very private, and has a beautiful view. Mireille is a wonderful hostess and gave us some great suggestions on things to do. The unit is within walking distance of a great french bakery for your morning croissants and a short drive to some of the nicest beaches on the island. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property. We can't wait to visit again.

  We had a wonderful time at our stay at Mireille’s place. It is just as she describes on vbro. I and my wife stayed there with our two kids for two weeks. Everything is close by and easy to get to. The gazebo is really nice for eating outside anytime of the day. It is a very quite place to relax and enjoy since it is on the end of the complex and you have the trees to make you feel like your all by yourself. You have to be there to really realize how nice it is. The place was very well kept and clean. It was wonderful to meet Mireille she is a great person to rent from. Hope to see you soon again.
