                      About the owner: Our family grew up in British Columbia and Moved to Victoria in 2002. We drove around the greater Victoria area on the week ends and one day during 2007 we saw the property come available. It was one of the last un-touched pieces of property on the Ocean with enough land to build a dream on an estate. We planned the design for the home and began construction of phase one in 2010 and moved in the summer of 2011. Our family loves to spend time here playing on the beach, in the trees, or running in the field.

                      Why the Owner Chose Victoria:
                      This property is truly unique. People come and park on the road at the side of the driveway just to stare out at the view of the ocean. The property is open enough to see one of the most beautiful back-drops that any home in the Greater Victoria region enjoys. There is a huge grass area between the home and the Ocean which is great for sports or relaxing with family and friends. The ocean access is down a ramp to the beach and has a secluded private cove where Hagan creek spills out down a water fall into the sea.

                      The Unique Benefits at this Estate:
                      The field and the views are the first draw and on top of that the property has many secrets to be discovered. Where Hagan creeks crosses the corner of the property the water flow is controlled by a dam built over a half a century ago. This keeps a consistent stream of water cascading down through the forest over moss covered rocks under the canopy of fir and oak trees. Over time the creek has created a sand bar which is most visible at low tide in the summer when all sorts of sea creates can be found. With the sand bar home to all sorts of shell fish and crabs there are seals, otters, herons, turkey vultures, and several bald eagles that can be seen in the spring and fall, and perch on the trees surrounding the ocean front. The beach is clean with small pebbles and is bathed in sunlight all day. On sunny days it tends to warm up more than the rest of the area in the neighbourhood and provides for a terrific vantage point to watch the sunset over the mountains. This property is one of a kind. There are all sorts of animals and wildlife that can be found here and the small forested area has some trails to walk through to cool off on a hot day. This is one spot not to miss out on and take advantage of the natuaral setting for a once in a life time experience in Victoria.
