I like to go places in the fall when the activity is less. This is an ideal place for being peaceful and restful. It is a real nice place and the owners are really good to deal with. If you are looking for a wild, active nightlife, this is not it. However, for me, it is an excellent choice. And my son really loves the wood stove and having a fire at night.

What a wonderful find. The last home on a lane in the woods with a view of the sea? Simple but well-kept home with fun yard and private dock. Our children (9 and 13) were in heaven. Parents were happy too. We had the good luck to extend an extra day. Five min drive to closest shops/restaurants, and then another 5-10 min to Rockland where's there is plenty of everything. Owner was a very easy guy to deal with, fair and prompt. Our kids want to return again this summer, but ah, there's so much more to see out there.

We've stayed here twice and would happily return. Exceeds any expectations you'd get from the photos and the description. Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful, beautiful setting, all the comforts of home, easy drive to Rockland/Rockport/Camden, St. George peninsula, etc. Owner is very flexible about arrangements.

The house was lovely, the property was gorgeous and it was very relaxing. Plenty of beach for children to explore and find treasures. The sunrises were breathtaking in the morning. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Would recommend if you are looking for a relaxing family getaway.

We were here in mid-May and felt right at home. Dr. Mills was easy to work with, answered questions and has a large 3 ring notebook at the house that gives you any and all the info you need concerning the house and area. My husband didn't really miss a TV. We were too busy exploring the area & walking to Birchpoint State Park. The full view of water each morning in the loft where I slept was a delight. I missed it when we left. We felt like it was a privilege to stay at this house. It was relaxing and peaceful. We hope to return in a couple of years for a longer stay!
