My family loved staying here. The house was spacious and very clean, the beds were comfortable. We prepped all our meals in the big kitchen and enjoyed sitting under the big umbrella out on the deck- even in the August heat. There was a BBQ on the deck, which we happily utilized. Miniature golf in Twain Harte was fun, as was going to Pine Crest each day to play in the lake (only 20 minutes away). The cabin is so centrally located that we thought it would be fun to stay more days next time and explore the neighboring towns and attractions.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The cabin was clean and nice and pretty close to Twain Harte. A nice deck off the back but not shaded and was really too hot to enjoy. Other cabins pretty close off the back, deck not very secluded. It was nice for 2 couples each had their own bedroom and bath. Kitchen well equiped but only used for breakfast. No stereo that would have been nice to have. Had a good time.Owner response: Thanks for the note on the stereo..With Ipods and Iphones so heavily used we figured folks would use their own with portable boosts. It would be a useful piece to have there. Did you use the umbrellas for the deck? one at the table and one at the end of the deck? The week you were there was hot, I know.

What a great place this is for a relaxing retreat! Everything you could possibly need and more. A newer, modern and clean home with HUGE master bedroom/bath, fully loaded kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 more private bedrooms, large deck with outdoor dining and barbeque and a fire pit for making Smores with the kids! An absolute DEAL when you compare to the cost of a hotel room. Thanks - we'll be back!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Aaah...thanks. You are welcome anytime.
