  My family and I stayed here Dec 26-Jan 1. The house is in great condition and is very spacious. There is a large garage to park your car in as well as a great front porch. The floors are heated which is a nice touch. A great place to unwind after skiing at Wolf Creek and plenty of acreage for the kiddoes to play on. Only negative is a tiny TV with poor reception but if TV aint your thing then this place is perfect.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

  This is a very nice rental. It is located in a scenic mountain valley with great views out of every window. My wife loved the big leather chair with an excellent view of the valley. It was perfect for reading. The pets enjoyed the acreage for running and playing. This is a great location for those seeking an outdoor experience as hiking, biking, running and photography opportunities are just out the front door. During our stay a neighbors horse gave birth to a colt. I would recommend this rental...I will be back.

  This was the perfect location for our family to spend a week of our summer vacation. The house was exactly as described and well stocked with everything needed from books to kitchen items. We enjoyed much that Pagosa Springs has to offer including hot air ballooning, fly fishing, hiking , horse back riding and of course the hot springs. Jennifer was wonderful to work with and we can't say enough good things about this house.

  My husband, two children and family dog stayed a this delightful home back in June. The house is very tastefully decorated, peaceful and exactly what we all needed after a long school year. The views are beautiful and the surrounding area is perfect for hiking, running, biking, etc. Far enough out of town, yet easy access, makes this vacation rental perfect for for the active family. We made some wonderful family memories and definitely plan on returning. We highly recommend this rental.

  We rented this beautiful home for the first week of August 2007. The house is tastefully decorated and had everything you could need in the kitchen. The views were spectacular from every window and our kids enjoyed the TV room upstairs. The location was great -- we hiked & biked the trails adjacent to the property and went to nearby Echo Canyon Reservior several times to fish. We ate breakfast & dinner on the porches each day and admired the views. We were traveling w/2 dogs and the size of the property was excellent for letting them run around, and the mudroom was perfect for them to sleep in each night. We would highly recommend this home and hope to visit again.

  We rented this house for 2 wonderful weeks and added the guest cabin for the second week so that we could include family members in our vacation. We had 2 couples and 3 other adults along with our greyhound, Samuel, and this arrangement afforded everyone some persona space. The location was optimal for our hikers, mountain bikers, and fishermen -- and what a treat to be surrounded by horse properties and the opportunity to go trail riding right around the corner! We observed several deer in the yard and enjoyed dinner on the large covered porch. The kitchen is beautifully equipped and we ate in most every meal without effort. We will definitely be back!

  We stayed here in June and had a fantastic time. The home was more than big enough for four adults and two energetic kids. It's beautiful and well appointed - all we needed to bring was food and clothing. The views are spectacular; sitting on the deck watching sunsets and thunderstorms was very relaxing. Short drive to fishing for the kids at the nearby lake, and close to town for groceries and restaurants. Having a laundry room was so helpful with little kids. Took lots of walks in the woods behind the house and to see the horses down the road.

  My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home with our two children and our family dog November 15th - 21st. Wow!!! What a beautiful home! The house is very spacious, yet cozy and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything but the food (the cookware is exceptionally nice!). The king size bed in the master suite upstairs was exceptionally comfortable. There is a wood stove and there is kindling ready for you and wood stocked on the porch for a cozy fire to warm you in the cold mornings and evenings. The heat in the house is ambient heat (in floor heat), which is nice when you get out of bed in the morning the floor is nice and warm on your feet. There is a laundry room for you to do laundry so you don't have to take so many changes of clothes, which is really nice. The property is nice and private and the views are absolutely gorgeous. We saw a whole herd of elk off of the back deck one morning. Be sure to visit the Hog's Breath restaurant (don't let the name fool you!) in Pagosa Springs for a night out to eat...we only ate out one night and it was delicious! Our family enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning on going back again in May for another visit!
