My goal in going to Morgan Ridge was a quiet, relaxing vacation with my daughter. The cottage was very comfortable and clean and the ammenities were fantastic. Whether you want to sit on the spacious rear deck and enjoy the view or take a rigorous hike to magnifcant waterfalls that are closeby, the area has something for everyone. I have already recommended your cottage to family and friends. Thank you for being so gracious.

Initially we were shocked to find the cabin was at the end of a cul-de-sac with neighbors but soon realized how PERFECT the LOCATION truly was. The neighbors were friendly, there is a hiking trail less than 3 miles away...and if you find yourself on the road that leaves Hiawassee, passes through Helen and Blairsville to return to the cabin; there are some of the most amazing waterfalls along the way completely free of charge. After hiking up and down mountains all day Morgan Ridge was the warmest home away from home anyone could wish for.

Very cute cottage in a great location near Hiawassee. We found the cottage to be comfortable, well maintained, and clean. We enjoyed our stay, relaxing over Labor Day weekend. The only drawback was a really weak Wi-Fi signal, which we should have verified before reserving. The owners (and their neighbor) provided excellent service.

My daughters and I stayed in the cabin this past October, we found it to be beautiful. We enjoyed the area and found the cabin to be clean and very cozy. We hope to stay there again in 2011, the cabin was easy to get to, as we were given great directions. We did a lot of shopping, stores, yard sales, and the area offers a lot of beautiful views.

The cottage at Morgan Ridge is very comfortable, clean and relaxing. since my husband and I travel all over the U.S. on business, we have stayed at many diverse places, but I always look forward to coming back to this cottage. I love the shopping and restaurants in Hiwassee and the cottage is perfect to come home to and relax with a cup of hot cocoa and a good book. Hoping to get some snow when we go back next week!

My family has just returned from our stay in North Georgia. We stayed 5 nights at Morgan Ridge Cottage. The location was central to everything we planned on our trip. The cottage was very clean, and well-maintained. It is small, but perfect for our family of four. The cottage is very quiet and private. It was just a short drive to waterfalls and beautiful mountain overlooks, and also just a short drive to town (Hiawassee,GA). We enjoyed whitewater rafting, hiking, and horseback riding. We would highly recommend this rental. The price was great!

This vacation cabin was one of the best little getaways my husband and I could have asked for!! It is in a beautiful setting, off the beaten path, and so quiet. It was also close enough to the town of Hiawassee that when we needed to do a few things, like check our email, we just went to a cute little coffee shop in town. We rented a pontoon boat and explored the Chatuge Lake, which made for some beautiful pictures. We also went and hiked the Appalachian trail. It was awesome! I would recommend this to anyone---definitely go for it!!

We found the property to be clean, well stocked with supplies and the hosts to be friendly. Mr. and Mrs. D. e-mailed the directions and they were right on. They provided a nice packed of activities that the area holds. Our goal was rest, looking for peace and quiet. We found it. Mr. D. offered suggestions on places to eat, shop and attractions. He was very nice and aware of his location. We enjoyed the SMOKE RING BAR-B-Q very muich. We would (and have) recommended this location for a vacation. We enjoyed the long walks, the sunrises and sunsets, and the fresh air. Draw backs: The lake Chatague is in bad shape, water level is very low. The cost of everyday items was much more than we would have spend here in Michigan. Overall, we will readily recommend this location for a vacation. Thank You, Garth T.
Owner response:Thank you so much for your kind words about our cottage!
