A 16' Center Console Boat is now available for guest use. Explore the miles of canals and intracoastal waterways. Fish the mangrove islands and grass flats. Add another dimension to your vacation! This awesome waterfront resort style home is available the months of October, November, December, January, February,March, and April. Bring your boat or make arrangemens to use our our 16' Center Console. The boatlift can accommodate up to a 30 footer or you can fit your 36 footer in the slip. If boating is not your style you can catch snook, redfish, trout and other saltwater gamefish right from your own private dock (fishing gear is provided) or just sit back and wait for the dolphins and manatees to come frolick in the lagoon.
Our "Mad Beach Bungalow" consists of 2 large bedrooms, each with their own bath facilities. The master bedroom with king sized bed opens up to the "Key West" style back porch that overlooks the brand new inground HEATED swimming pool. The guest room with queen size bed has it's own private sun deck and has access to the "Bellagio" custom hot tub. Each room also has it's own color television with cable access.
The fully equipped kitchen includes: cookware, silverware, dishes and glasses along with coffee maker, toaster and of course a blender for making the tropical smoothies for you to enjoy out by the pool!
Our house is located directly on a lagoon with canal access to the intracoastal waterway. From here you are just 10 mins. by boat to the World Famous John's Pass. John's Pass is a great eating and shopping destination. It is a unique fishing village boasting great seafood restaurants and unique gift shops and boutiques. Many restaurants are accesible by boat!
You can also get to John's Pass and other beach destinations by the beach trolley which runs south 10 miles to Pass a Grille and all the way north to Clearwater Beach, with many great beach stops in between. Let's not forget the beach. You are only 2 short blocks to beautiful Madeira Beach.
Bury you toes in the sand while gazing out on the sparkling blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Be sure and stay long enough to catch the most amazing sunsets in the world. Maybe you will be fortunate enough to witness the "Green Flash", an atmospheric phenomenon that few get to see in a lifetime of sunsets!
With all of the sites to see and activities to do in the Tampa/St. Pete area you may forget to partake in the most important one, just sitting in your backyard and enjoying your own private resort at the Mad Beach Bungalow.
