YOUR OWN PRIVATE BEACHFRONT! THE BEST BEACH IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON! Where else can you find a beautiful protected SANDY and PRIVATE beachfront with warm waters for swimming or wading? This is a secluded, pristine beach that is wonderful for beach walks, beachcombing, flying kites, clamming, or settling in with a good book. Nestled in the protected waters of beautiful Willapa Bay; it faces the tip of the Longbeach Peninsula. The western exposure makes for absolutely incredible sunsets over the water. Off in the distance is the Pacific Ocean as it breaks over the bar. This is like waterfront used to be - serene, pristine, and remote. Rarely will you see another person.

Willapa Bay is a huge body of water that is the oyster capitol of the world. Buy oysters or other seafood from local fishermen, or dig your own bounty of fresh clams from the beach.

Home sits on over an acre to assure your privacy. Lots of room for kids (and adults!)to play or use the commercial swings. It is surrounded on three sides by vacant land, and the water is on the fourth. Relax in the hammock overlooking the water. Access to the private beach is through your yard.

Spacious and modern home, built in 1998, is all on one floor and has an open concept design. There are three bedrooms (two with queen beds; one with two twin beds and a third roll away bed), two baths, and even a special "storm room" from which to watch winter storms or enjoy summer sunshine. Nicely furnished and well equipped to help make your stay memorable. There is high speed internet and DISH TV.

A perfect location for family vacations, or a great setting for a romantic and peaceful getaway. Close enough to Longbeach or Astoria (about 35 minutes) if you enjoy touristy things, but far enough away for tranquility if that's your preference.

Home is one and a half hours from Portland, two from Tacoma, three from Seattle. Located thirty-five minutes north of Astoria, 30 minutes south of Raymond, just two miles off Highway 101 in the quaint city of Bay Center. Just far enough to feel "worlds away" yet close enough for convenience. Why not save gas and vacation close to home? This is beachfront at its best.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the house. If you are looking for peace and privacy, this is a great house. Beautiful sunsets and views. A very private beach front, at most we only encountered two other people. My favorite part about the trip was taking naps in the hammock that overlooked the beach.

  • Beautiful Beach House!! Our family had a wonderful visit. This house is amazingly secluded... Our nine year old girls would wake up every morning and head straight down to the empty, private beach. Every night we had a fire, and roasted marshmallows!! The girls loved the experience! The owner is right...if you need a "town" experience as your vacation, this is probably not the right fit. However, if you're looking for a relaxing, quiet, tranquil setting...then this is the perfect home!! The girls and my husband clammed one morning, and by lunchtime we were eating FRESH!!! delicious clam chowder. We also picked fresh blackberries and made jam! So much fun... One last comment...the linens and the towels are simply divine!!!! The master bedroom bed was so comfortable that we "had" to take lots of naps. Needless to say...we came home perfectly refreshed.

  • This house is a treasure on a private on a 1 acre lot with mature vegitation. The view of the bay is gorgeous and it is a family home with plenty of room for kids to play, also equipped with a swingset, and hammock. At night, the stars & total silence reminds you that you are on vacation. My family was very happy with our stay.

  • WOW. This really might be the best beach in the state of Washington, or even on the whole West Coast! I loved swimming in the warm water all day, and relaxing in the lovely house after the sun went down. The house is so comfortable and nicely appointed, and almost every room has a view. The whole experience really was perfect in every way.

  • The owner's description is very accurate. This is a beautiful, like new house in a perfect, tranquil setting. The Willapa Bay water truly was as warm as bath water on a recent July visit. Great clamming. Easy drive from Tacoma. I highly recommend.

  • The best weekend we've spent in years. Deer walked through the yard at breakfast, as if on que. Clammed all day long on the secluded beach and the kids won't stop talking about when are we going back to the beach house? The owner was the sweetest and we're thinking of booking again soon.
