Rent all for yourself a secluded large country house, splendidly restored with private swimming pool, in a tranquil and scenic area covered with olive groves and vineyards, near restaurants and farms where it is possible to buy the best quality of local olive oil and wine. Casa Antonietta is situated on the south-facing hills of San Pietro a Marcigliano, from where it is easy to visit in one day the most important cities and ancient towns of Tuscany (only 11 kilometres from Lucca, 65 kilometres from Florence, 30 kilometres from the beach of Viareggio, 25 kilometres from Pisa), near the golf courses of Montecatini or Forte dei Marmi or the horse riding schools of San Martino in Freddana. Accommodation for ten people.

Casa Antonietta is ideally placed in the hill country northeast of Lucca, (11 kilometres) among the most important cities and historical villages of Tuscany and close to Segromigno Monte and Marlia with supermarkets, surgeries, chemist shop, post office, and so on. In this area there is the opportunity to visit the villas of the fabulously wealthy Lucca nobility, internationally famous palaces which are scattered throughout the area and the town itself. Lucca is a real jewel of Romanesque and mediaeval architecture, rich in museums, elegant shops, fine restaurants, and cafés. It is possible to ride around this city and its ancient walls by bike you can easily rent.

Bagni di Lucca and Montecatini with their ancient thermal spas are a short drive away, offering the chance to soak away your troubles in the mineral baths. In Forte dei Marmi and also in Montecatini
there are good golf courses. Those who are interested in modern art will surely visit Pietrasanta. Children are well catered for with the Parco di Pinocchio in nearby Collodi or at Viareggio.
