  • Great holiday for out family of six

"We recently stayed at this wonderful property in Costa Rica. This home was fully equipped with all the necessary items for our stay. It was a very relaxing stay and the infinity pool, the views and wildlife were amazing. To sit out in the morning with a good cup of coffee and watch the birds and monkeys was a bonus. This home was well designed, spacious and spotless. Roger the property manager was professional and we met in town and de drove with us a very short distance to the house. The neighbourhood is in a secure gated community and located close to the town. We did not rent a car for out stay and to hire a cab was only 4.00 usd one way to pick up our groceries. We used Maleku Tours for our ground transportation from the airport. Eugnia and Hainer picked us up at the airport in Liberia to take us to the house, we also used this number # 1 rated tour company to arrange our private tours right from the house. On another note we met some wonderful construction workers building the house behind the property, 8 cement block layers and very quite. ( you would not even know they are their) We brought them morning coffee and treats daily. They were very appreciative and in Canada we call it pass it on ( just like paying the bill for the car behind you at Tim Hortons drive through). Best holiday ever and we want to thank-you all very much for this wonderful and unforgettable stay at this beautiful property. We would all return to this property!"

  • Look No Further for the Perfect Beach Vacation!

"We stayed at Casa del Mar, their house next door, two years ago, and we just knew we had to come back to Playa Grande. This time, we decided to try Casa Syl Mar. We knew that it would have the same great view, the same wonderful staff, and the same excellent hosts, so we didn't think we would have any real surprises. But, of course, we were pleasantly surprised to see just how beautiful this house is. I think it might be the prettiest house on the beach. You really can't go wrong with this place. Playa Grande is a great place if you like things a little quiet and love the outdoors. Boogie boarding and surfing here are just amazing (we took lessons from Doug and Kieley at Frijoles Locos) because of the consistent breaks. We also highly recommend doing the Estuary Tour through Jonathon at the Hotel Las Tortugas. This is a canoe trip into the salt water estuary where we saw hundreds of birds, crocodiles, and got a great close-up view of a troop of howler monkeys. Avoid the smelly, noisy motor boats. You won't see nearly as much wildlife (and they are, technically, illegal anyway). Ask about the fresh fish truck too! Gabriela helped us get some wonderful fish delivered right to us. Fantastic! Seriously, you just don't need to keep looking. I promise you won't regret staying here!"

  • Beautiful Home! Perfect Location! Beautiful Beaches!

"Vacationed for a week with another couple, our first trip to Costa Rica. All agreed the home met all expectations: clean, well furnished, comfortable, and the splash pool in the back yard was perfect after our walks to town and back along the beach. Appliances, grill, dining room or outside table were very inviting for eating at home, but we passed on any cooking-in to sample the variety of restaurant in Tamarindo, Langosta, and Lolla's and the Marriott on Playa Avelinnas. It was only a short walk cutting though the Capitan Suiza Hotel or the Beach Club to get to the beach, and having access to the club as part of the house was super convenient (pool, food, massage and exercise room). Linda recommended and we used almost exclusively Tamarindo Traval for our excursions and trips around the area. Fantastic week all around."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
