Medrose es una propiedad simplemente impresionante, una de las casas más bellas de la zona.
El alojamiento consta de cinco habitaciones, todas con baño privado. Hay un amplio espacio de vida de planta abierta que conduce a una terraza cubierta con vista al estuario, sin mencionar la enorme sala de juegos equipada con tenis de mesa, futbolín y una mesa de billar, Sky TV, DVD y TV de 60 pulgadas para cuando el clima se vuelve inclemente.
Recientemente se instaló una bañera de hidromasaje Urban Cedar y una ducha exterior.
Tiene un jardín independiente que es adecuado para niños y mascotas.

La casa está ubicada en una zona muy conveniente en Rock para la vida familiar y está situada a menos de media milla de la playa más cercana y de los servicios locales. Rock y las ciudades vecinas ofrecen fantásticas actividades interiores y exteriores para toda la familia.

Fantastic place

Perfect place for all the family. The location is brilliant and only 10 mins walk to Rock ferry over to PadstowMy only suggested improvement would be to cut the hedge so you can see the sea view from the garden furniture.

Amazing House

We all loved this house with the hot tub and games room were a big hit . Location in Rock is brilliant with fabulous shops. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Family Break in Rock

Lovely house, beautifully located

This property was really suitable for our group of nine adults celebrating a 40th birthday. Good walking distance to the local pubs, restaurants & ferry to Padstow. Lovely decorated to feel homely & comfortable.

Lovely house but a bit scruffy and could do with some maintenance. Otherwise nice location great room sizes. Property mainanence company completely unresponsive however which isn’t good and it wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived so had to do some cleaning ourselves to bring up to scratch. Could be wonderful with a little TLC and better attitude from the cleaning/maintenance company

We were a party of 6 Adults & 4 children aged between 10-15 years. The house was very spacious & had all the essentials you need to have a lovely holiday. Great location, right near the gorgeous beach. A great holiday had by all, would definitely book again.

A lovely family Christmas get-away.

Great location and facilities for a lovely Christmas getaway. 11 adult sized people enjoyed the space and comfort of this property. Bedding and bedrooms were super comfy. Great space for dining and cooking, with an amazing view! Nice to have a games room, although the pool table was in very poor condition. Table tennis and football table were great fun.

Family get together

It is a lovely home in a beautiful location with wonderful views of the estuary. Sadly the weather was cold, windy and wet on occasions which spoilt the experience a little. Still managed lots of walks and a couple of visits to the beach and the older grandchildren enjoyed surfing on Polzeath beach. Luckily the house had a great games room which was much enjoyed by the young ones. Had several ferry rides over to Padstow which were fun.

We were five couples who rented this house over a bank holiday weekend in order to attend our friends daughter’s wedding in Rock. The location for us was spot on and I cannot tell you his much we enjoyed our stay. The property is so well appointed with everything you could possibly want, apart from a missing corkscrew which must have been inadvertently removed. Thank you so much to the lovely owners who allowed us to visit their very special place.

Superb location

The house is stunning and it is huge! It was very clean and had all the items you need for a comfortable stay. It’s location and proximity to the beach was perfect. Some of the house is looking a little tired and we were disappointed that you couldn’t enjoy a view from the decked terrace like in the photographs, due to next doors hedge being so high that it completely covered the glass balustrade, blocking the sea view which was a shame as it was one of the things that attracted us to the house. We loved the games room, the hot tub and the laundry room was huge with great appliances. All in all a great house in a great location!

Best new year trip

We had a fabulous stay at Medrose. Location was great for a walk down to the beach, cafes and ferry to Padstow. Even our children 10,6,5 managed to do it with ease. A well equipped kitchen. The only thing that was that there wasn’t an empty cupboard to put food away. The fridge, I need one in my home. Great size and having extra wine fridge, and mini one in the study was great for drinks, Every spacious house. Games room was a fabulous touch. Decent utility. Having extra toiletries in bathrooms was a nice touch.Bedrooms are all a good size and great sleeps all round.Again thank you for having us.

Had no idea we were checking in, turned up to a builder on site. House uncleaned. Hot tub not cleaned. Games room poor condition. Pool table and cues broken. Hot tub was cleaned and only worked 24hrs. Was not fixed for us. Really really poor Easter holiday

Half Term Escape

This house fitted the holiday brief perfectly. We all had perfect space to relax and the children were very happy with the games room. Hot tub was popular too although some jets did not appear to be working! We popped the bikes under the deck to store during the day which was brilliant. One suggestion would be a little gate at the top of the outside steps as there were a number of escapes so we needed to fashion a barrier of sorts to stop this. A great property for larger groups. Everyone felt like they were sleeping on clouds.

Fantastic New Year Holiday

The house was very spacious and clean, it was a great space for two families to holiday. The children enjoyed the games room. Lovely views from the balcony and the hot tub was fab! I would definitely recommend this house. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch, however the kitchen really should have been supplied with more basic cleaning products. Whilst we stayed the underfloor heating was broken, however heaters were provided and the house was still lovely and warm. Easy to contact Property Manager. The WIFI was disappointing - not suitable for a house/ group this size.

Hi Thanks for review. Glad you enjoyed it The internet is the fastest available in the house. Even the Cornwall fast fibre system doesnt the area or BT or Virgin etc. It will upgraded once a supplier provided it in the area Kindest Regards David owner

Very spacious house with living split on both levels suiting all groups. Great layout with bedrooms on both floors giving space and privacy to all.
Great games room with Table Tennis, Poole table and Table Football - enjoyed always by everyone.
Large deck area with high spec furniture and BBQ area.
Kitchen has 2 separate ovens, 2 freezers and 2 fridges for large groups.
Outdoor hot tub
Set off main road so Surreal quiet at night with no road noise.
We allow dogs.
4 single bed room - all love it
REVIEW August 2018:
Medrose Rock has offered us a fabulous group holiday home for the past two years. The property is outstanding, with an ideal mix of space, games, great views and easy access to nearby beaches and facilities. The house is well equipped, clean and beautifully presented. We are a mix of young children, teenagers and adult family members and everyone had all they needed - and more - whatever the weather!
