It is located on the 3rd floor (with elevator) of a building located at less than2 minutes walking from the train station and the main square of Sorrento.Right in the center of Sorrento, close by the apartment you can find supermarkets, bars, banks, shops, restaurants and all the amenities that you may need to make the most out of your stay.The most elegant section of Maison Evita is the very spacious and bright living room with comfortable sofas, tables and chairs. The living area opens directly to the terrace well equipped to give you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors area of the apartment. The terrace indeed is the ideal spot where to relax after a busy day touring around the Sorrento area.Maison Evita is furthermore composed of two double bedrooms, each with air conditioning and direct access to the lovely private terrace, a bathroom with shower, a service bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen where you can experience to cook Italian food.Maison Evita represents the ideal choice for a family or for a small group of friends who want to spend a vacation in the center of Sorrento, close to all amenities and extremely close to train station, bus terminal and the port.As you can understand from the description it is not necessary to have a car during your vacation; should you prefer to book one anyway there is a private parking only 50mt from the apartment which costs approx 25€ per day. Great location! Street below can be busy, but it was not bothersome. We loved how close it was to the main Piazza Tasso with shopping and dining on the same street. A grocery store was right down the street too! The communication with Davide was excellent. Very helpful and nice! Highly recommend! Great home base to explore the area including day trips to the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Wonderful apartment in the best location right on the main drag in Sorrento and just a block from the train station. The hosts, Davide and Alessia, were very responsive and helpful. The apartment is very large, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It is 4 floors up and the elevator works well but is VERY small. I chose to use the stairs to avoid clautrophobia. The apartment's large balcony overlooks the main street which is always bustling (and a bit noisy). All in all, a wonderful stay and we would happily stay here again.

Great Location!

Perfect location...close to center of town, train station, boat/ferry dock, etc. The apartment is very clean with a great balcony for relaxing after a long day. Davide (host) provided amazing support to help us get tours to Capri, Amalfi, Positano, etc., as well as getting us great drivers to/from the airport. Could not have been happier with our experience at this VRBO.

Great property!

The apartment is fantastic; well equipped, clean and very spacious. The veranda is great and Davide was an awesome host. The location in very, very central; we were able to easily walk to the train station and the town centre. The only downfall is that, due to its location, it can be noisy at times; we had some late night revellers that were quite loud a couple of nights and construction on the street outside very early one morning - but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The Best of Italy

Wonderful location, property, size, with everything one would need, plus the beautiful balcony where one spends most of your time. It was ideally located and we just loved the close proximity to the train station, the restaurants,cafes, the marina, the view of the fireworks at night, the loveliness that it reflected, which reflected Sorrento. Such wonderful memories made here and you can just feel happy and content all at the same time, We will be back!!!!! Ciao for now:)

Great location- right in the middle of everything

Nice property overall. Communication was clear and consistent. We opted for their airport pick up and drop off for an extra fee. Worth the convenience. Location is right off the square so easy access to all things Sorrento. It is a bit noisy because of that, so just take it into consideration. Minimal kitchen elements, but just enough for us. Convenient grocery right down the sidewalk. Shower didn’t drain properly, so if you’re doing anything but just a quick shower, you might need to pause the water. Some dated elements that could use an update, but again, overall a great landing place for our trip.

Nice location, but maintenance needed

Perfect location, but we have some issues to report: 1) Not enough kitchen supplies (there should be at least 4 of glasses, plates, and there were no cereal bowls); 2) Replace the glass table in second bedroom and put in a chest of drawers, as there is no storage in second bedroom); 3) Ceiling in the bathrooms need repair (ceiling was flaking onto the floor). It was nice sitting on the terrace each evening. Despite the comments, we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely, well situated apartment

Apartment is much bigger than the pictures suggest. The lounge, in particular, is very big. Our stay was most enjoyable with all that we could need provided. The bed was comfortable and the shutters blocked out any external street noise as well as the light. Air con available in the lounge and bedrooms. The large balcony was comfortable and a great place to have a coffee or glass of wine. The location is perfect, just around the corner from the train station and an easy, short stroll to the main part of town. A supermarket is just steps away. Communications with the owner were excellent as was the check-in process.

Fabulous, spacious apartment with Perfect Location

Davide was so helpful with every aspect of our trip. The apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location In charming Sorrento, and literally just a few minutes from the train station. Also close to the old city where all the shops and restaurants are, and within walking distance to the harbor to take the boat to Capri, which Davide helped to arrange and was a fabulous trip. Easy to get to Pompeii by train from here as well. Only regret is that we didn’t have more than three days to stay here! David was so helpful in arranging our trip to Capri, as well as with restaurant recommendations and securing a driver for us to get to Positano. Would highly recommend this perfect spot that was such a well appointed apartment!

Enjoyable Stay

We enjoyed our stay, however, the pictures definitely make it look better than what it truly was. A few items were broken upon arrival (lamp) and stains on the white couch. There were also 4 towels for our 4 day stay there which felt unacceptable. The twin beds are very short, and my brother who is 6'6" hung off the twin bed. The windows and doors are very thin so you can hear everything-- very loud at night. It is in the heart of town and very accessible to everything (including the train station which is just a few minute walk). We enjoyed our stay, but likely would not return as the value was not there for the accommodations.

Dear Ryan, thank you for your review. I would like to highlight that we only give a set composed of 3 towels for each guest making a total of 12 towels and this is usual in self catering accommodation. We have throughly checked the house and we have found all the lamps working fine ; maybe it was not clear that you need to make it work with a main swicht by the door. As regarding the single beds, they are standard single beds and they measure 80cmx190cm. The apartment is located write in the middle of town and this can explain the little noise. Great Patio but...

The outdoor patio was lovely, and there were ample places to sit and visit both indoors and out. It was a great place to relax. The house is right on the main strip with many shops and restaurants and the street just below, and there is almost constant noise. With the doors closed it is quiet indoors but the patio is quite noisy from about 8am to after midnight. The house was beautifully furnished and clearly well cared for, but there are a lot of decor items covering all surfaces so it was tricky to find a place to put suitcases. It's on the 3rd or 4th floor and the lift is very small, so we used the stairs a lot. The apartment had electrical issues. The master bedroom A/C would not work and the manager came to look at it, apologized but could not fix it. The kitchen was filled with appliances that could not plug into the walls due to outdated outlets and missing adapters. The manager did bring new adapters and screwed in the outlets, which were loose and dangerous. Finally, after all of this, the circuit blew in one part of the house and we lost power. At this point we were checking out so it didn't affect us, but we did again let the manager know. The cost of this apartment was too high for all of the issues that surfaced, unfortunately.
