When we arrived at the property we were taken back on how amazing the view is from the back of the Bungalow, you can see for miles, easy to get to other parts of Somerset and a clean and well set out property a credit to the owners, I would not hesitate in booking this one again.

Woodcraft Barn was everything we hoped - comfortable, homely, clean and not far from so many interesting places. The views all round were spectacular and the wildlife in the orchard and surrounding fields were wonderful. No hesitation in recommending it.
Spotlessly clean well equipped modern bungalow with excellent views, set in an old orchard with Green and Greater spotted woodpeckers on the lawn and in the fruit trees.
Ideal location for exploring the Somerset Levels and surrounding area.
Please note we were upgraded to a different property so review not for property in photos.
Good no-frills accommodation in orchard setting with far-reaching countryside views. Very clean. Decent shower with plenty of hot water. Good heating system ( if needed ). Close to road so traffic noise may be a problem if you’re not used to it.
Exceptionally well presented, spotless and a delight
Modern conversion with lovely views in a peaceful orchard setting. Booked a week to allow us to visit family in the area and it really was a home from home. Well equipped, clean and with all the facilities we needed. Hosts were on site but left us in peace with a light touch on rules and responsive to questions. Would certainly come back and highly recommend.
A stop off place to stay from our journey home from Devon.
We entered the property through electric gates and drove up the drive through the Apple orchard. The Barn had been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Very modern and extremely clean. A real wow factor as you walked in the door. The bedrooms were smart with lovely views overlooking the garden which was filled with fruit trees and wildflower meadows, which had mowed paths around the meadows to walk around. This property was very private, even though the surrounding garden was communal it felt like we had it all to ourselves. There was a nice decking area to sit outside in the evening which had far reaching views across Somerset. In the bedrooms there was a lot of cupboard space and drawers for your clothes. There was also lovely clean towels for our use. It was also dog friendly as there was a lovely walk just down the road along the canal which you could either go for a short or long walk. We were only staying for 2 nights as a stop off place to break our journey up from travelling home from South Devon but we would definitely like to return again for a longer stay.

Booked this property as a surprise for my wife's birthday but also arranged for our good friends to stay with us. The property is stunning and very clean, the grounds are simply beautiful. Restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets all within a 10 minute drive from the property which is a bonus. Would highly recommend this for a lovely weekend, want to bring my parents back next year.
We loved the location, being in an orchard and lovely views across countryside . Property was really well equipped and comfy. Lots to do in the area, canal walk nearby great with our dogs.
We stayed in the barn over the August Bank Holiday weekend, and were upgraded prior to our arrival. The barn is lovely, set in a superb location was very clean and well organised. We throughly enjoyed our stay, and exploring the local area.
setting was exceptional, within easy reach of many places of interest. all you would need for a short stay was there. can't wait to see the new property.
Had a short stay at Woodcroft. The property was lovely and clean. Everything you need including some extras like tea, coffee and milk ( and a beautiful sponge cake, thank you) . Pretty surroundings and good as a base to visit the surrounding coast lines.
We loved our stay here, from the beautiful and delicious cake which was made for our arrival to the beautiful grounds which the cottage is in.
The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and well equipped.
We would love to stop here again if we were in the Taunton area again.

Why they chose this property
When we found this property 13 years ago, we both fell in love with it immediately. Personally for us, it had great potential, but most of all we loved the fabulous views especially from the top of the hill. A common comment from many of our guests is that the property is very well placed to visit many local attractions, as well as being very well equipped and of course , the views! We have a key safe so that guests can let themselves in and be totally private and independent from us. Of course if you want to meet us and have a chat we are here for you.
What makes this property unique
To make use of the views we built a decking area that leads straight from the living room. There is a table and chairs were you sit and relax and weather permitting soak up the sun.
