Cozy and Clean Unit
We hiked West Glacier and this unit was just minutes outside of the park. My husband and I were very pleased and comfortable in this clean apartment. It has a full kitchen, large bathroom, comfy couch and reclining chair to relax on after long day of hiking. The bed is very comfortable, but it squeaks with any movement. The unit had all the comforts of home. Grocery store is close by. Our host was very kind & accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed.
Cosy cabin ideal for exploring GNP
Karen is an excellent host. Property is rustic, comfortable and cosy. Ideal as a base to explore Glacier National Park. We will happily return in the future.
Great cabin, great location!
We really enjoyed the Martins' cabin! Karen was a great host & provided perfect directions to get us there; the space was clean, inviting, and an easy drive from the west side of the park.
Warm and Cozy!
We enjoyed our stay here! The home is impeccably clean and has everything you need. The owner is very kind and welcoming.
Very nice hosts in simple but adequate lodging
Our enjoyment really had nothing to do with the hosts or their property. They were very kind and helpful. It was as stated. Clean and adequate for a short stay. But we experienced fire at Glacier and were unable to appreciate the beauty through the smoke filled haze. Because of this smoke season happening yearly and the west side being closed. It seems to be affected more. We had to drive 3 hours to reach the east side entrance of Glacier in order to enter the park. Would recommend staying on the east side if you are going to see Glacier although the west side is prettier from our point of view.
Perfect base for exploring Glacier and the surrounding area
My daughter and I spent a week at the Martins' cabin while we hiked in Glacier and explored the area. Karen was an excellent host and took care of us very well. The cabin is simple but very comfortable and was exactly what we needed on this trip. We enjoyed the park, the great scenery all around and Karen's wonderful hospitality (& Shiba's excited greetings when we'd get in from hiking!). We'll be back for sure whenever we can come back out to Glacier.
We are in Hungry Horse, 10 miles from Glacier Park, in Northwest Montana. 4 miles from Hungry Horse Dam, 17 miles from Big Mountain Ski Area, 15 miles from Glacier International Airport. Big Sky Water Slides, Glacier Maze, helicopter rides over Glacier and several rafting companies are nearby.
