Overall, we had a good stay. The unit was spacious, the beds comfortable. We did not use the balcony due to the weather however judging from the road traffic it would have been quite loud…with a beautiful view. We found a number of stores /shops and good restaurants close by that we enjoyed. The only suggestions I would make with the view, the windows need to be washed more often or replaced. Eyre square would be too far to walk to in inclement weather however there was always a very short wait for an Uber.

Free parking in garage in back. Stunning view of Galway Bay from apartment. Great ice cream nearby! Pleasant walk to Galway.

While we were only here for a short time, we loved the proximity to the sea and to restaurants/groceries. The apartment itself was well-furnished and equipped.

The location is very good but it is on a busy ocean front road with noise throughout the night. There are people talking very loud on the street and even in apartment balconies during night. Access to groceries was very convenient.

Great location, clean spacious apt, easy check-in, parking included, beautiful view, food an shops close by. Easy 20 minutes walk into the bustle of Galway proper. Was the perfect place for us. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Apartmentanlage relativ neu Meerblick direkt am Meer, man kann zu Fuß zum Badeplatz gehen oder theoretisch einmal über die Straße und direkt ins Wasser 2 Bäder Parkplatz / Tiefgarage hinterm/unterm Haus Top Lage, Geschäfte, Pubs, Cafe, Restaurants fußläufig erreichbar Bushaltestelle direkt vorm Haus, sprich das Apartment ist optimal auch ohne Auto- Keine Garderobenhaken im Apartment- zweites Schlafzimmer und zweites Bad haben Fenster direkt zum Laubengang, man kann das Fenster oder Rollo in der Nacht kaum offenlassen da dann jeder hereinsehen oder einsteigen könnte- Schlafzimmer zum Laubengang zu spärliche Beleuchtung- Kaum Kleiderbügel in den Schränken- In den Bädern keine Stangen zum aufhängen der benutzen Badetücher- Grundriss suboptimal, im Bad ist der Spielge und das Waschbecken ungünstig in einen spitze Ecke reingebaut- keine Spiegelbeleuchtung zum rasieren Waschbecken eigentlich zu dunkel- Waschtrockner trocknet nicht ausreichend, kein Wäscheständer / Wäschleine in der Wohnung- Küchenausstattung verbesserungswürdig: nur schlechte Messer, kein Flaschenöffner, keine Salatschüsseln, kein Salatbesteck)- Tiefgarage grundsätzlich offen und belüftet, leider etwas schmuddelig, riecht nach Urin, wird wohl teils als Toilette missbraucht

When I got here I found out that after 9pm there is no hot water. You need to boost to get hot water for 30 minutes at least PER PERSON. There was 4 of us staying here and I had to take an ice cold shower every single night. In addition there is no AC in the unit. We needed

Comfortable stay with an amazing view

Spent 4 days at this place and when we were not in the water steps away from this place we were enjoying the view from the big windows and balcony. Looking forward to coming back again. One note: Vrbo app showing that check out was 11 am when we booked and stills reflects 11am on the app and on the confirmation but email communication the day before check out stated 10. I was able to message the host and there was quick reply however house keeping did come at 10 even when host said 11 was not a problem. House keeping was rushing us but our clothing was just finishing a drying cycle and the door was locked but to be clear the host and stay was 10/10 and we did stay until just before 11 am. I understand there was a misunderstanding between housekeeping and host but this did not damper the amazing stay we had. (Adding screenshot of posting showing 11 so it can be changed if it’s not accurate)

spacious and great location

Staying in Salt Hill is great. 30 minute walk to downtown Galway, right on the beach, pubs and restaurants nearby. Check-in was easy. Instructions said I would get info 3 days in advance, but it came the morning of. It is all automated. They do have a property manager on site if you have an emergency. The rooms are large and clean. Beware that traffic is INSANE on a sunny day! Parking under the building is very tight, and while busy, we always found a space.The key cards stop working at check-out time, and I was in the middle of loading my car. Had to get the property manager to let me in. They were very fast and helpful.

Not What I Expected

I received one notification that checkout was 10:30 and another notification that checkout was 11:00. It was about 10:35 and I was taking things to the car. When I came back to the room the key card had been deactivated. Thankfully my friend was still in the room !!!!This is the ONLY place I have stayed that did not supply a roll of paper towels. There was not a dish drain basket for the dishes and only ONE (1) dish drying towel. There were no supplies such as coffee, tea, salt and pepper etc… which have always been in other VRBO.The dining table was wedged between the wall and the end of the sofa.The lighting was very POOR !!!! This place was absolutely bare bones !!!!!

Tolles Gesamtpaket

Schöne geräumige Wohnung mit Meerblick. Die Bilder sind zwar etwas hübscher, als die Wohnung tatsächlich ist. Aber alles im Rahmen. Gute Küchenausstattung mit großen Töpfen. Backofen sehr sauber. Bäder in gutem Zustand. Kostenlose Oarkplätze im Hof. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier mieten.

Clean but needs some TLC

Apartment was clean but needs some updating and maintenance. Be aware this is in a very touristy and loud promenade. Noisy in the evening and in the morning when deliveries were made. Window locks were broken, balcony chair was broken. Check in was very easy. View was gorgeous.

A fab time in Galway

We have to say our stay in Galway was great! The apartment was spacious, well appointed, with a very large kitchen (yes!), and balcony with views of the ocean - we could not ask for more. We would definitely recommend this property - AND it came with parking - yes!
