Good space not well maintained

The pics are a little decieving - the quality of things aren't great. Old patio furniture- bathroom has a dirty bath mat-the community is ok- nice pool. The gym is beyond basic. I just felt dirty and gross the whole time.

Not very clean

We already did a survey for this unit. We love the complex this unit is at. Great proximity to beach, great pools, and wonderful location to amenities.

Unfortunately, this unit did not meet our expectations. The lenai was musty and the furniture had signs of mold, so we could not use it. My husband is sensitive to odors, so not being able to use the lenai was a big disappointment. A chunk of money wasted as a result.

The glasses in the kitchen did not appear to be clean, so I ran a majority of them through the dishwasher so they did not have spots.

The linens were not organized and clean, so I bought bleach to try and clean the towels that were haphazarded placed in linen closet. I reorganized them so that we knew what we had.

The comforters on beds did not fit the size of the bed. It was definitely apparent that not a lot of thought and care went into the overall outfitting of the unit. We had 5e opportunity to visit another unit in the same complex, and there was a vast difference in regard to the furnishings and decor.

The owner of this unit could really step up to the plate and create a more inviting unit, esp. starting with the lenai.

Property "OK" but.......

These properties are repurposed - ie, unsold - condos without onsite management which was a major problem for us. As instructed, we called ahead about 2 hrs prior to arrival (our call was neither returned nor acknowledged) and upon arrival the facility was of course locked up tight with no one present to assist us (the time was late Sat afternoon, the most common arrival time for weekly rentals); more phone calls, and after being transferred around several times we are given a passcode to a realtor-style lockbox hanging on the garage door which didn't respond to our efforts. More phone calls, and about 2 hrs later someone finally shows up and lets us in, we are by now tired, hungry, and in dire need of bathrooms.....what a lousy beginning to our stay. The property was "OK", modern and clean but with little attention to details (missing lampshades, inop features on the microwave) all typical of a property attempting to be managed by remote control instead of onsite. Surely we can do better next year...... we've stayed in Sarasota for decades without issues (our previous condo where we stayed was torn down for a hi-rise).
