Welcome to your Reno Vacation home! You'll love our very comfortable 1,450 Sq ft home with 3 BR and 2BA.
House description: One level, single family home with contemporary decor in a very quiet neighborhood in Northwest Reno. Short drive to almost everything: UnR 1.7 miles, Downtown 3 miles, Convention Center 9 miles, Reno Airport 11 miles
The house sleeps 6 in the 3 bedrooms.
Fast WIFI, Central Heat and A/C throughout the house.
PLEASE NOTE: There is only a TV in the living room on which you can access Netflix and Amazon prime but no cabe TV.

- Master bedroom: King size bed, en-suite bathroom which has ADA accessible shower, sliding door to the back deck. The two other bedrooms have Queen beds.
- Bamboo hardwood floors in common areas and vinyl plank in all the bedrooms.
-Spacious family bathroom with bathtub/shower combo and full size washer/dryer.
-Kitchen: Gas stove/oven plus fully stocked with cooking gadgets to prepare meals.
-Dining table seats up to 6 people (4 chairs and 2 stools).
- Gas BBQ on deck right off the kitchen accessible by glass sliding doors.
-The back side of the house has a big deck for eating al-fresco or just enjoying the view while you sip your morning coffee.
-ADA accessible via ramp to front door, wide hallways and doorways, roll in shower with handrail.
- Pets are welcome with an additional $50/night fee.

There are walking and mountain biking trails literally in our back yard at Evans Canyon and ski resorts are 35min -1 hour. There is San Rafael Park 5 min drive which has a huge dog park.

A few items need some maintenance to make it better...slider is difficult to open and close, hallway bath shower head is pretty leaky, and the wind noise from back bedroom (2) windows can make it hard to sleep.

Communication with the host was prompt and friendly. Entry (our arrival was late) was smooth and easy. Property was clean and well stocked with bedding and bath supplies. Neighborhood was quiet and very pleasant with wonderful views of the canyon and western hills. Beds were reasonably comfortable although could have been firmer for many people.Kitchen was well equipped with appliances and dishes. Except there were only 2 teaspoons and the microwave screen was very difficult to read. There was no charger for the handvac and it ran out of battery power during our stay. The floorvac dirt container (bagless) was so very full that it had to be emptied before we could use it.The most annoying problem was the center of the kitchen floor which was bubbled up and spongy when stepped on making it uncomfortable and somewhat dangerous for older folks. It should be attended to and repaired immediately.

Thank you for the review. The bubbling of the kitchen floor in front of the sink was known to me ahead of your arrival and I had meant to flag it to you. As I had shared in our phone call, the property has been steadily booked and we haven't had the time to do the repair. I appreciated you highlighting how it can make certain people unsteady. As for hand vac, it is not listed as a amenity of the house and my cleaner must have left her personal handheld. I understand that given your extended stay having access to a handheld vac would he nice. The full size vac I will ensure the cleaner empties the bag. Thank you for the heads up. We enjoyed having you as a guest and appreciate the review.

Love this home. We have rented this home the last 3 years in a row for our annual trip to Reno. It has everything we need and is perfect for our family. We have more than enough room for 4 people, it’s just like being at home. Everything is always clean and comfortable. We will be back next year!

Hi. We are Megan and Robbie. We have been visiting Reno since 1994 and finally made the plunge and moved here in 2019. This house used to be where we stayed for our vacation so now it is a short term rental.

Why they chose this property

This is a very special home. For a little home it feels very spacious. The hallways are wide, as are all of the access ways. It was built for a handicap couple back in the mid 80s. The pictures don't capture well enough the sense of space that the home offers. All of the rooms offer very comfortable beds. The best thing about the house is that it is close to everything. 8 min to downtown reno, 3 min to UnR, 10 min to the airport and within 8 min you are on I80 west to hit the slopes. The neighborhood is very quiet with very little pass through traffic. The house backs up to a Nature reserve so it is peaceful and beautiful.
