Stunning New England Style Lakeside Lodge

South facing Claremont Turret lodge overlooking Windrush lake. Suitably equipped for six people. There is a wrap around decking with patio furniture and gas BBQ for the enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings.

Excellent base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds with Oxford, Bath, Stratford Upon Avon and Cheltenham all within an hours drive!

The space
Sabrie Lodge on Windrush Lake provides a perfect home away from home getaway, with amazing lake views. The lodge has 3 bedrooms set over 2 floors, with an open plan living space making it great for socialising with family & friends. All bedding & towels are provided. (Cot bedding is not provided).

Windrush Lake is a 10 acre carp lake with stunning common's up to 40lb. There are 2 further lakes onsite, 1 also coarse fishing and 1 fly fishing, which is regularly restocked with trout.

If watersports are your thing, paddle boards, rowing boats and kayaks are permitted on Windrush Lake! (See below for a full list of available activities on site).

Windrush lake is located within the Cotswolds Water Park, one of the best kept secrets of Gloucestershire! Its one of 150 lakes spanning an area of 40 square miles. With so much to explore and something for everyone; fishing including Windrush lake itself producing carp to 40lb, watersports, walking, cycling, great eateries, horse riding, gym, spa, history and culture are just some of the things you will find nearby.

Babies/toddlers are catered for, with travel cot (bedding not provided), highchair and stair-gate. The lodge is supplied with board-games. All linen and towels are supplied, and we furnish the house with starter-packs of tea, coffee, milk, toilet paper, dishwasher and washing-machine detergent, so you don't have to rush out shopping the minute you arrive.

Pets are welcome subject to approval per individual booking. An additional cleaning fee will be applicable for pet stays.

Weekend at a South Cerney lodge

Perfect retreat for a few days of study with friends

A perfect location for exploring the cotswolds. Lots to do on site for all ages. The lodge has everything needed to stay in and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. Lovely property and location

We had a wonderful stay this week! The location on Windrush Lake is beautiful, particularly when the weather is nice enough to enjoy the large well furnished decking area overlooking the lake. The site has several activities available: 3 great tennis courts, games rooms, a play area and a small football pitch. The house is clean, well furnished and equipped, and light and spacious. Very pleased we chose to stay here!

The property was exactly as described and the setting is perfect. We had a friend visiting from USA and we wanted a girls (3 daughters, 2 dogs, 1 granddaughter) weekend. So many amazing villages and places to visit. The house is well equipped and beautifully appointed and very clean.

Beautiful place

We have stayed at another property in Cotswolds waterpark this year and enjoyed it so much we booked again. This one was even nicer! Stacey’s property is immaculate. Everything you need available - sharp knives in kitchen ( pet hate of mine), board games, welcome tea, coffee,and biscuits, table tennis bars etc. Great info in the welcome book. Highly recommend.

Lovely holiday home in a brilliant location

The house is in a lovely gated development that's peacful, safe for kids and all round wonderful. The house itself is perfect, with every amenity you could wish for. It's bright and airy with lovely views over the lake. There's so much do both in the development and outside it. Stacey is a great host providing clear communication. If you're looking for cotswold holiday then this house is a great base!

Wonderful Getaway with Friends

from the moment we found Stacey's property online and enquired whether it was available, Stacey has been absolutely wonderful and efficient in supporting our stay at her property. The property itself was absolutely wonderful, spacious, modern, clean and in the most beautiful setting on the lake in the heart of the costwolds. It was such a peaceful location where we were able to make the most of being outside in the country air. I could not recommend this location more to others and Stacey has been absolutely wonderful throughout our experience.

The perfect lodge on the lake!

The lodge was beautiful, the perfect location to either sit on the deck with a glass of bubbly, watching the paddle boarders and kayaks on Windrush Lake, or walk 2 meters and join them! The grandsons enjoyed playing on the enclosed deck, tennis and pool, even Izzy dog enjoyed watching people walking past. Lots of places of interest to visit within 30 minutes. We enjoyed it so much we’d like to return next year. Thank you Stacey.

Located in a great spot -- direct Windrush Lake access and view plus an easy walk to facilities for sailing and water sport action on other lakes. Very well equipped and maintained home. The property was spacious, with a functional layout that works well for a holiday home; a balance of private and communal space. Spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated. I felt very at home here. Definitely on my list for a return visit.
