Amazing property!

Our stay was everything we hoped it would be! The house was clean and had anything we needed. It slept all 8 of us very comfortably and there was plenty of space to all hang out. The best part of the property is the setting. The view is spectacular and the pool is such a nice compliment to overlooking to Mediterranean Sea. Franco, the host, is delightful and very easy to work with. We will absolutely be back.

Beautiful place

What a lovely house and beautiful setting! We had a wonderful stay at Villa Laura. Our host Franco was very helpful and gave us lots of excellent information. Sunsets are breathtaking. We had lovely evenings having dinner and watching the sun set. There’s an easy stepping path to walk down to the water. A bit of helpful information- you will need water shoes to protect your feet from the rocks and sea urchins while getting into the water but once in, the water is refreshing and crystal clear. We had snorkel masks and had a great time snorkeling along the coast. The layout of the house has 3 bedrooms on the main floor and a separate bedroom on the ground floor with its own kitchenette. The kitchens are well stocked. For coffee drinkers there’s a DeLongi machine with coffee pods. There’s also a French press and kukima. Lovely place. Listening to the sea at night is sublime. Hope to return!

Short stay not what we expected

We paid to stay at this house for one week and ended up only staying for one night. The listing mentions a hot tub but be aware it’s a button and two jets inside the pool so not like an American hot tub. If you’re coming here for remote work or down time which includes streaming anything on the internet it was not reliable and even the host said the WiFi was terrible. We reached out via messenger to the host and he never responded on multiple issues. He appears to be on site or spends a lot of time there so we caught him regarding the internet but that didn’t make for the most comfortable stay. The home is on a beautiful cliff overlooking the sea but the beach when we were there wasn’t large enough and you couldn’t swim in the ocean from this point due to the rocks etc. the location is also just off the very busy highway so you can’t really walk or run from the home and will need to drive 15 minutes ish to be somewhere safe to walk/run or get to a swimmable beach, town, grocery store etc. overall we wouldn’t recommend this home due to the issues of the lack of hot tub, unreliable internet, unswimmable or playable beach and location without a safe walking trail or path and having the host around made it feel like we didn’t have the home to ourselves.

Unfair and very sly customers who wanted to leave the house for their personal reasons (after only one day) and to be able to access the refund, which they didn’t qualify for, have listed a series of absurd and non-existent problems. It is enough to see all the other reviews to realize our seriousness and professionalism, and that the structure is taken care of down to the smallest detail. I'll just focus on some of the complaints, as they are too far-fetched: I've never said that the “Wifi was terrible”, we have an up to date system installed recently. I have simply explained that unfortunately, the situation in all of Sardinia is not great, and sometimes the internet might be slower for reasons outside of our control. The pool has a hydro-massage function, there is a seating area specifically created for it with 4 jets and 4 seats, and it has heated water as written in the description of the villa. Nowhere does it say that the hot tub is separate. I have not responded to the texts, because I actually came in person to talk and help, which is the reason why I was on the property. Just a few examples: I was there to help when you locked yourselves out of the villa with the keys still inside, and when you couldn't understand how to turn on the dryer. I was always available and everytime we talked you said that everything was perfect. It is totally possible to swim in the sea, and the water is clear with a sandy bottom. The day of your arrival, unfortunately the weather was cloudy and the sea was rough. The villa is not near a busy highway, it is just a road that leads to the nearby town. There is no highway in the area of the villa, as it would be simply impossible to build in such a coastal area. I am sorry that the experience with the villa did not go as expected, because we always do our best to ensure that our guests have a wonderful experience.

Nice villa

We recently stayed in a villa in Sardinia and overall, it was a very nice experience. The villa itself was spacious and well-maintained, providing us with a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful pool, which offered a panoramic view of the sea. It was truly a delight to relax and swim while taking in the breathtaking scenery. The only downside we encountered was the accessibility to the sea. While we had hoped for easy access, we found that it required a short walk down a path with stairs. However, this was a minor inconvenience as it took less than 2 minutes to reach the sea, and the stunning views made up for it. The main issue we faced during our stay was the poor internet connectivity. We were informed that the problem was due to an overloaded exchange, but this made it difficult for those who needed to work remotely. If you rely on a stable internet connection, I would suggest finding an alternative solution or making arrangements beforehand. Furthermore, we were disappointed to discover that electricity costs were billed separately. It would be better if the cost was included when booking the villa, as this additional charge left a negative impression and detracted from the overall experience. Despite the minor drawbacks, we had a pleasant stay at the villa and enjoyed its spaciousness and the incredible pool with a stunning sea view. Dear Leon, I'm very sorry that you have experienced these minor issues during your holiday. I would like to respond to some of your points. As we explained to you in person, we had extensive work done to get a functional fast internet connection, the issues you had were due to special circumstances (public holiday "Ferragosto", which caused problems all around the island). The cost of the electricity is billed separately, as stated in the description of the villa (here on the website). Furthermore, upon learning of the poor performance of the internet connection, we let it go and did not make you pay the bill. I apologise again for the inconveniences and we are happy to know that you still had a very pleasant stay! Franco

Et fremragende sted med vild havudsigt, pool, fin indretning og flere terrasser. Der var to lejligheder i samme hus med hhv. tre soveværelser, to badeværelser, spisekøkken og stue. Og så en lejlighed med et soveværelse, køkken, spisestue og bad. Vi havde et dejligt ophold!

Fantastisch

We hebben een geweldige (huwelijks)week gehad in het prachtige huis van Franco. Het is ruim, heeft veel gezellige zitjes, een prachtig zwembad en toegang tot een eigen strandje. Franco is heel gastvrij en lief en reageert meteen op je vragen. We kregen zelfs een fles champagne en een bruidsboeket van hem. We hebben genoten. Deze villa is een absolute aanrader!

Casa con una bellissima vista sul mare. Perfetto per 8 persone. Casa molto ben attrezzata, cucina, bellissimo giardino. Tutto il necessario è lì. Si può scendere al mare, ma per fare bagno bisogna andare solo sulla vicina spiaggia. Una piscina riscaldata nelle giornate più fresche con una bellissima vista. Auto è neccesario. Nelle vicinanze (pochi minuti in auto) si trova la spiaggia, i negozi di Castelsardo, vigneti e prodotti regionali. In circa un'ora si può arrivare ad Alghero o La Pelosa. Raccomando il ristorante e l'enoteca dell'Asinara nelle vicinanze. Franco il padrone di casa è molto gentile e disponibile. Mi è piaciuta molto Villa Laura !!!

Vous cherchez un endroit sur la côte Nord de la Sardaigne !? Alors cette location est ce qu’il y a de mieux. Une vue magnifique et panoramique. Un hôte des plus sérieux, disponible et discret. La maison est fonctionnelle et confortable sans compter un intérieur classique et moderne à la fois. Côté extérieur: vous serez charmé par le jardin, un écrin de végétation méditerranéenne complété par une piscine à débordement avec son coin jacuzzi pour profiter des heures entières d’une vue sur le bleu azur de la mer sans oublier des couchés de soleil à couper le souffle, Mille grazie é distinti saluti.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum! Die Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen, es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Terrassen und der Pool laden zum Entspannen ein, bei Bedarf kann man die paar Schritte zum Meer hinuntergehen. Der Strand/die Küste ist nicht unbedingt zum ausgiebigen Baden geeignet, aber man kann im Meer herumwaten und auf den Felsen an der Küste entlang spazieren gehen. Franco, der Gastgeber, ist sehr freundlich (spricht zwar kein Englisch, aber man weiß sich zu helfen) kümmert sich täglich (aber meist unsichtbar) um die Außenanlagen und säubert den Pool. Zusammen mit seiner Tochter Laura (sie dolmetscht) ist er jederzeit zur Stelle, wenn man Fragen hat oder Hilfe braucht - einfach via WhatsApp schreiben. Es war super schön!

Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 1 Hund. Angereist sind wir mit 2 Autos, 1 Motorrad und 1 Anhänger mit 2 Motorräder drin. Parkplätze hatte es genug, der Parkplatz hatte eine Neigung, aber es ging ohne Probleme, wir waren genug Leute. Für unseren Hund war es super, er fühlte sich wohl und es war alles eingezäunt, ausser beim Pool hätte er über ein Gebüsch/Hecke an den Strand runter klettern können. Das WLAN war ok, 2 von uns mussten am Laptop arbeiten. Wenn alle im WLAN waren, war es etwas langsam. Ich glaube in der oberen Wohnung hatte es nicht in allen Zimmern WLAN. Der HAndy-Empfang war draussen meist ok, drinnen je nach dem. Es war etwa so wie auf der ganzen Insel, auch da hatten wir nicht überall Empfang. Franco ist ein sehr sehr guter Gastgeber! mega freundlich und unkompliziert. Er hat jeden Tag den Pool und rundherum gereinigt, aber gesehen haben wir ihn nie. 1x ist die Sicherung rausgefallen und er war sofort zur Stelle und hat alles wieder in Ordnung gebracht. Das Haus ist in 2 Wohnungen aufgeteilt. der untere Teil umfasst Küche, Wohnzimmer, 1 Schlafzimmer und 1 Bad. Die obere Wohnung hat Küche, Wohnzimmer, 3 Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder. Beide Küche sind mit vielen Geräten und Geschirr ausgestattet.

Tolles Haus!

Sowohl das Haus als auch der Außenbereich und der Pool sind sehr, sehr schön und gepflegt! Einen schöneren Ausblick kann man tatsächlich nicht haben! Auch der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
