About Todd Frisoni
Our family loves Door County. We have lived in Sister Bay for 18 years and have been looking for a quiet get away for many years. We finally found the perfect place on the shore of Death's Door. We think you will love this quiet peaceful location too.

Our family has visited Door County several times each year for the past 15 years but never during winter. We also have a reasonable experience with rental properties. We decided to rent this property based on several criteria - wood burning fire place, quiet location, access/view of lake. It turned out to be the perfect place for us. Todd was great to work with and answered all questions promptly. The house had everything we could think of and a comprehensive "guidance document" that answered all the basic questions. Just about everything was new and in perfect condition (bathrooms, appliances, furniture, etc.). The place was very cozy and we loved the layout. One thought for improvement would be a rug in the living room. The heating system and fire place worked great and there was enough wood to last the winter! Internet worked great. We didn't turn on TV, so can't comment there. We spent most of our time in the living room playing games (provided) and watching the fire. Despite the below zero weather, we spent a good deal of time outside near the property and hiking the State Parks. The view of the lake and Washington Island was fantastic and we loved watching the eagles soaring overhead and the shifting ice/water and weather patterns. Good value - Highly recommend.
My husband and I recently took a weekend away from our small children and stayed in this cabin. It was perfect!! We were close enough to stores if we felt like venturing out, but far enough away to really feel "away from it all". The place struck the perfect balance between cozy cabin and very comfortable hotel. The bedding and bedroom were wonderful! We sat on the shore and sipped our coffee and later in the day sat on the couch inside and sipped wine. The sun didn't come out long enough for us to use the outside fire pit, but we were able to get in a walk to the ferry landing.
We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!
We had a great stay. Todd was super helpful and friendly. Property is close to the Washington Island Ferry and has a lovely view of the lake. The house was well stocked and clean. We had a great trip. I'd stay there again!
We just left the house today and we just hated leaving! We were blown away before even getting to the house because it seemed so secluded. The house was simple and just perfect. Todd was amazing and answered every question so fast even telling me where to find amazing sunrises. The view at the house is just beyond incredible! We travel all over the country and this was by far our favorite place that stay! We can't wait to go back!
This property has all you could want. Lovely secluded clean and well stocked home with a great view of Washington island to boot. Close to the car ferry and a short drive to all the attractions Door County has to offer. Very peaceful! Had a great time and hope to be back!! Thank you, Todd.
A little piece of serenity
We went for a girls weekend away and Todd's home was perfect for the 6 of us. Sitting around the fire pit having morning coffee, to watching the stars in the night sky. So peaceful. Being at the end of the Pennisula was perfect. We would venture out to shop the towns down the coast but when all of us were all shopped out we retreated to the comfort of Gil's Rock. The Shoreline Restaurant was a perfect place to enjoy the sunset and dinner. And Rowleys Bay Resort was a true find for breakfast buffet. We will definitely rent again if we come back to Door County
