Palm Tree - Apartamento con vista al mar, 65m de la playa con piscina y garaje

Apartamento dúplex de lujo de 145 metros cuadrados, el más grande del edificio. Sao Martinho Do Porto es una hermosa villa portuguesa con una gran bahía en forma de concha que ofrece refugio y aguas tranquilas y seguras.

El apartamento ha sido amueblado y equipado a un alto nivel y tiene una maravillosa posición elevada con amplias vistas a la bahía. Hay sólo unos pocos pasos y un camino de acceso a la playa y un pequeño parque infantil con hierba. Usted está en el corazón de la ciudad a pocos metros de muchos restaurantes portugueses y de mariscos a lo largo de las calles empedradas.

El balcón privado en la planta superior es ideal para el entretenimiento y comer al aire libre. Un patio privado adicional que se accede desde el salón y la cocina tiene acceso directo a la piscina (práctico para las familias). Un socorrista está presente en los meses de verano en la piscina y la playa. Hay Wi-Fi gratuito, rápido e ilimitado disponible en el apartamento para los huéspedes.

En el salón hay asientos cómodos, televisión por cable (canales en muchos idiomas disponibles) y también un reproductor de DVD con muchos DVD's en el apartamento para su uso.

Tenga en cuenta que hay algunos escalones alrededor del complejo y, obviamente, dentro del apartamento, ya que es un dúplex, por lo que el apartamento no sería ideal para personas con problemas de movilidad razonablemente graves.

From start to finish, everything was great! The apartment was well stocked and so conveniently located. I can't emphasize this enough. Right on the beach, next to cafes and restaurants. What a beautiful and charming town. Easy walk to butchers, local markets and shops. The people were so friendly. The beds were comfortable, best of all we were able to check in early which we greatly appreciated after our long flight. Thank you so much for a very beautiful stay!

An Amazing Place to Stay at Sao Martinho do Porto!

Fantastics views !

We loved our time at the apartment - the balcony was my favourite part spending the evening with a glass of wine listening to the waves and looking over the bay. Beds were super comfy and the apartment was so spacious and had everything you could need for your stay. We loved how close it was to everything - 1 min walk to the beach and a couple of minutes stroll to the town centre. We had a car and did loads of exploring. The caves and water park , Lisbon Zoo and a day in Obidos (you have to try a Ginja liqueur when you are there !) were our favourites. Loads of great restaurants with Portobello being our favourite and the Hamburguria a close 2nd. The beach was very busy at the weekend and the sea was cold but we still loved it there and the kids adored the giant inflatable obstacle course and hiring a pedalo. and we walked to the giant sand dune one day. The pool was fantastic and never busy - loved being able to watch the kids from the balcony. Big shout out to Pablo who was the pool attendant. We had lots of lovely chats with him and he was great at making sure the kids were safe and no one was causing any problems in the pool. Only a couple of minor criticisms, the shower in the main bedroom was terrible, barely any pressure and hot and cold so we all used the main bathroom. The radiator in the lounge area was blasting out each morning but the control was broken so we couldn't turn it off. Definitely didn't need heating mid summer ! But the biggest moan was about the office where you collect the keys. Very unfriendly man handed the keys over, asked for £25 euros for the pool bands (which wasn't advised before hand ) so had to run around looking for cash to pay him. There was no one to take us there so we just found our own way and worked out how to get in and when I took the keys and pool bands back not even a "how was your holiday?" - just advised me he had no cash to give me the £25 deposit back and got very grumpy when I said I wasn't going until he had it. Just seemed rude and not friendly at all but this is no reflection on the owners as they have been lovely on every occasion I have spoken to them. We would 100 % recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in the area - i would say its got the best spot, best pool and best view of any accommodation in the area and with a car there is so much to appreciate in this area of portugal.

A casa melhor equipada

Esta foi a casa melhor equipada e melhor localizada em que estivemos. A localização é excelente, com uma vista deslumbrante. A casa é enorme e super bem equipada: não falta nada, mas mesmo nada! A casa pertence ao Anthony, mas é gerida - pelo que entendi - por duas empresas: a que coloca o anúncio e que gere toda a comunicação inicial e de reserva e a empresa local que entrega as chaves e a quem podemos recorrer se existir algum constrangimento com a casa. Houve duas situações que careceram de atenção, mas sentimos que houve alguma necessidade de recorrer ao dono para que as mesmas fossem resolvidas. Mas FORAM RESOLVIDAS. Aliás, o Anthony foi sempre estupendo em querer proporcionar a melhor experiência possível. Um pequeno reparo: os lençóis e roupas de banho pedem substituição; além disso, as toalhas pareceram-me escassas para a quantidade de pessoas (éramos 6 adultos e 2 crianças); mas valeu a máquina de lavar e secar! Dois pequenos reparos em relação ao anúncio: este dizia que a casa tem garagem - e tem -, mas não nos foi fornecida chave da mesma e esta estava ocupada com equipamento da casa. No entanto, o Anthony informou que poderia ser utilizada, bastando que afastássemos o equipamento da casa e abríssemos a porta por dentro. Ora se não é, à partida, suposto que os hóspedes utilizem a garagem, sugiro que retirem essa informação do anúncio, uma vez que no nosso caso, por exemplo, esse fator foi crucial para a escolha da casa. Outra situação é a informação de que só podem estar 5 pessoas de cada casa ao mesmo tempo na piscina. Essa informação foi prestada, é certo, mas apenas após a reserva ser efetuada, não estando visível no anúncio inicial (pelo menos eu não encontrei). Foi uma situação de fácil gestão da nossa parte, mas a verdade é que no início, ao sermos confrontados com a informação, é criado algum constrangimento. Finalmente: parabéns ao Anthony pela hospitalidade e parabéns pela casa maravilhosa que possui, das melhores onde já estive. Tem excelentes condições, vista maravilhosa e uma piscina que fez as nossas delícias.

Achei o apartamento fantástico. Alias, actualmente, tenho uma fotografia a partir do mesmo como fotografia de fundo do meu facebook. Penso contudo, que a entrada da retaguarda, podia ser um pouco mais airosa. Talvez faça sentido investir um pouco no embelazamento e funcionalidade dessa zona. Conto contudo, repetir a experiência! Building Site

We booked this property in good faith for a relaxing golfing retreat, we managed to talk to the owner when booking the holiday and mentioned we had a bad experience the previous year with building work going on next door to the Vila we booked. He had the opportunity to inform us of the REDEVEOLPMENT PROJECT right in front of the pool in the photo which is 50 yards away from the flat. We found out the building work has been on going for 2 years so far and will probably continue for another 2 years before completion take place. He did not say a word about this. The works started from 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday - Friday so there was little peace and quiet during the day, there was the usual building noise which included drilling, angle grinder, radio, and hammering etc etc. This was very annoying especially not being told. We did complain after the 2nd day of Constant noise and was offered a refund for the days that we didn't use the flat, we didn't really have the time or inclination to start looking for alternative accommodation so decided to put up with the builders and stayed out of the flat during the day as much as possible. He obviously never told us as no one in there right mind would book a holiday with this to put up with. The Photos in the advert are a Misrepresentation of the property as there are no palm trees, it looks like these were cut down several years ago, there is also no power shower in the master bedroom as shown, this has been replaced with a basic low pressure shower. There were 7 light bulbs which need replacing, yes 7 There are 2 light bulbs on the terrace which need replacing as well The cooker hood extractor lights are also not working There are 2 toasters, both not working, one being quite dangerous as it fuses the flat when plugged in. There were no instructions for the TV, this also fused the flat when plugged in. Many of the tiles in the lounge area have come loose and could fall off at any time. The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is degusting/rotten underneath and needs replacing The bath in the upstairs bathroom is rusty in places and needs attention. The toilet paper holders are loose and need tightening. The property is in a great location and the town itself is brilliant, we will probably return to the area but not to this flat. Please check the status of the building project before booking. I have reported our holiday to Home and Away Holiday Rentals.

Your main complaint is regarding the building works that are happening approximately 50 meters away from the property. Unfortunately, those works are entirely outside of our control. We didn’t see a need to inform you about the works as they are a fair distance away from the property and in spite of the works going on for over two years, until your visit we haven’t had one complaint about them. This is in spite of us managing 5 different apartments in that block and having managed literally hundreds of bookings in the block during the period whilst the works have been ongoing. It may be that you are exceptionally sensitive to noise or you may have raised the issue as you were hoping to receive a refund of 50% of the costs of your stay – a request that you put to us in a text message during your stay. When we spoke on the phone, I explained that I appreciated that you were upset by the noise and I gave you a very easy option to stay in a different property in Sao Martinho. We manage bookings for over a hundred different properties in Sao Martinho so it would have been easy to relocate you to another apartment in a different location. At the time you expressed how much you liked our apartment, you then considered moving for two days before deciding that you would prefer to stay in the apartment and try to seek the 50% compensation that you felt would be fair. I explained to you that I had given you the option to stay in a different property but you had been reluctant to leave our apartment – I guess that you were really enjoying staying in the property. As a good will gesture I offered you compensation of 10% but of course you were hoping for more and I suppose that’s why you’ve posted your review that seems to contradict all of the other reviews and feedback given about the apartment. Férias excelentes

Foram umas férias com muito descanso. A vista para a baía de São Martinho é divinal. A casa está muito bem localizada e muito bem equipada. Não precisa de levar nada, só boa disposição e desfrutar ao máximo. Irei voltar, recomendo, vale mesmo a pena. Sandra Cunha

Phantastischer Blick, ohne Palmen!

Absolut positiv sind die Ausstattung der Küche, die wirklich keine Wünsche offen lässt, der Blick auf die Bucht, die Matratzen der Betten und der Pool! Wir waren zu viert da und haben abends viele Stunden mit dem Blick auf das Meer genossen. Perfekt ist auch die Lage der Wohnung bezogen auf die Infrastruktur: Einkaufsladen , Brot und nicht zuletzt das unmittelbar unter der Anlage gelegene Cafe Palmeira mit der Möglichkeit zu Galao und selbst gebackenen Kuchen (Sehr lecker vor allem der Rüblikuchen!). Gut war auch die unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, da die Verwalter in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wohnung erreichbar sind. Was gegen Ende der Saison passieren kann: das Schloss der Haupttüre war defekt, so dass wir nur über den Terrasseneingang in die Wohnung kamen und leider fiel auch die eine Dusche aus.

Vielen Dank für Ihre Nachricht. Wir haben jetzt die Dusche komplett ausgetauscht und jemand geht aus, um das Schloss zu reparieren. Danke für die Rückmeldung. Special place in Portugal

We initially booked the apartment for one week,but ended up staying for two weeks due to the Iceland volcano and all three of us felt very lucky to have been able to enjoy the fabulous apartment and Sao Martinho for the extra week. The situation of the apartment within Sao Martinho could not be bettered being within 5 to 10 minutes walking of all the amenities but also situated to benefit from the magnificent views of the bay from two of the bedrooms and both balconies. The apartment itself could not be faulted with all requirements taken care of with a great attention to detail. Sao Martinho has a great selection of restaurants to suit both price and style and if fish is a preferred option then the opportunities are endless. If you have a car there are many restaurants of interest within a 15 minute drive of the town. With our extended stay it did give us an opportunity to explore the surrounding area and with the benefit of the immaculate Portuguese road system distance was not a problem. Areas we visited and would recommend are Nazare,Obidos(both the walled mediaeval town and the lagoon),Fatima , Sintra and Tomar to quote but a few. Many thanks Antony. Over the years Pat and I have stayed in a variety of accommodation around the world but for comfort and ' a feeling of home' your appartment is very high on our ranking list. Beautiful apartment - amazingly well-equipped!

Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday! The apartment was absolutely perfect - we couldn't believe how much equipment there was for our 10-month-old baby and 3 other children (aged 14, 12 and 9 years) - the owners really have thought of everything! Everyone had a great time, and San Martinho is lovely - very unspoilt, & we found the Portuguese people extremely friendly. We didn't take a car & there was plenty to do without one - fantastic walks around the bay to the rocks on the other side, & of course the lovely big pool (a bit cold as unheated, but definitely warm enough to swim, & the children spent most days in it, for hours at a time!), some nice restaurants (the Italian "Portobello" was great) and bars, a wonderful clean sandy beach and a lovely playground for the children, really close to the apartment. The view from the property is beautiful - lovely and relaxing to sit with a book & drink on the upstairs balcony. We tried to catch a bus one day (to Obidos, a local mediaeval town) but it didn't arrive - apparently a very unusual occurrence, but as the weather was so hot we were more than happy to sit by the bay with a cold beer/ice creams instead! The rooms were all huge & beds were extremely comfortable - our super-king with memory foam mattress was especially luxurious. Also provided were a great selection of DVDs & books to suit everyone, loads of board games, beach toys, & a fantastic array of basic cooking items, including even pasta, sauces & olive oil for emergencies! Everywhere was beautifully clean, & the owners and Portuguese estate agents extremely helpful and friendly. I can't recommend this property highly enough & hope to be going back before too long - definitely the nicest self-catering apartment/villa we've stayed in! Many thanks!!! Camilla & John
