About Todd Thomason
I am the owner and developer of Little Lake Village subdivision in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. I also developed nearby Marina Village Condos. While I live in St. Louis with my wife and 2 daughters, I am a native of Western Kentucky and grew up bass fishing on Kentucky-Barkley Lake and duck hunting nearby. Many of my relatives are originally from and still live in the immediate area in and around Grand Rivers, so the location has special meaning to me and the whole Thomason family.
Todd Thomason purchased this House in 2017
Why Todd Thomason chose Grand Rivers
I strongly prefer Grand Rivers as the small-town atmosphere and location on both lakes makes me feel like I am on vacation with most amenities that I need within walking distance of the lakehouse (several restaurants including 500 seat Patti's, T Lawson's Saloon, Cabin Pizza, antique shops, Branson style theater, grocery, bank, ice cream shop, boat rental, $1 million walking trail connecting both lakes, golf cart rental, golf carts are legal to be driven on public streets in Grand Rivers, park, summer concerts, etc.). My idea of relaxation and vacation is being at the lake with many activities to choose from both on the lake and off of the lake. Grand Rivers truly offers more to do and options than anywhere else on either Kentucky Lake or Lake Barkley in my opinion.
What makes this House unique
This lakehouse is my newest personal vacation property and has many developer upgraded features including two large suite style bedrooms, 12.5 foot vaulted ceiling, lots of windows, lots of trees and a beautiful covered porch. Since it was constructed in early 2017, it has many modern amenities including grey and white porcelain tile that looks like hardwood in all rooms and baths, convection oven, sarsaparilla cabinets with dovetailed drawers and Dallas white granite countertops, composite deck and covered porch, floor to ceiling windows in most rooms and more.

Allen Family Coronavirus Getaway Weekend
First impression walking in the door was amazing. Very clean and organized. Kitchen way stocked with dishes and everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Within 2 minute walk to the water. Local stores very friendly. We all had a great time. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!
Very Nice Home
Great property for a perfect lake getaway! This home is spacious, well stocked, clean, and the owner is very accommodating.
Wonderful getaway from cold Northern IL
New home with great decor within walking distance to town. We were here during the coronavirus shelter and loved our walks to the lake and for ice cream, trip to the elk and bison prairie. The owner quickly answers any messages and was wonderful to deal with!
Beautiful private stay for group of friends
What a gorgeous property! Our group of 9 had a fantastic time over the weekend. The location is so convenient to the sights and restaurants of Grand Rivers, but still feels private and woodsy and secluded. We had all the things we needed to relax, cook meals, play games. It was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, dishes, towels, etc. We’d love to come back sometime!
Spacious. Welcoming. Comfortable
11 women came to relax and it was great! Beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Everything was clean. Would definitely stay here again. Nice secluded area with deer wandering around everywhere. Hot water lasted through about 7 showers before needing time to reheat.
Located about 2-3 blocks from Patti’s, so it’s an easy walk.
The only cons concerned temperature. The 4th bedroom with multiple beds was colder than the rest of the house. Needed more extra blankets.
The owner was nice enough to let us check in early, which was great because the temperature of the house itself was 50 when we got there. We just dropped off our stuff and left for a few hours. It took about 5 hours for the house to reach a comfortable temperature, so I would imagine it would be the same way in the summer with the AC. If you rent this house, I would ask to have the temperature adjusted before arrival.
Overall, this was the best experience I’ve had with VRBO.
