I bought it for the view and peacefulness

Close to the main beach, but not too close! I love Luz so much I have just bought this apartment (end July 19). It has a great upstairs living space leading onto a terrace with views out to sea , which is great to dine out on. The location is perfect for people who want to be close to the beach, but still have peace and quiet. It is 3 minutes walk from Endless Beach Bar & Pizza and the man beach. Downstairs off the main bedroom is a small terrace, giving you another location to sunbathe and possibly BBQ.
The apartment has a modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, microwave, extractor fan, modern electric hob. The downstairs contains the two bedrooms and the bathroom was refitted in November 2022.
The apartments Wifi is fibre - speeds are 200mbps download/100mbps upload, the router is also new with support for both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz so modern devices with a HD TV box with 200 channels with many international channels English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Indian, Brazilian, Russian, Chinese, Romanian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian, Dutch, ...

Excellent location. The apartment was spacious and nice and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Close to the bus stop, supermarket and lovely cafes on the beachfront. Would definitely stay there again. Our host was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

Lovely little apartment, sparkling clean. Had everything needed to self cater, down to Tupperware to pack your lunch in! Comfy bed, a veranda overlooking the sea and plenty of spaces to sit, relax and eat. Paul was an excellent host, very fast to reply, and great directions to the apartment. Would highly recommend booking!

Best location

It was everything and more that my wife and I wanted. The location is second to none, close to the beach and all the many nice restaurants and bars.I can understand why Paul bought it for the view--Superb. The apartment is probably the best stocked apartment we have ever stayed in,anywhere,even down to the cocktail measure in the kitchen.Paul was extremely helpful when I had a small problem with the TV,in fact he couldn't have been more helpful. We had a wonderful holiday and this apartment shall be our 1st choice the next time we go to Luz. Many thanks Paul for making everything so easy

Location, Location, Location

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully presented and the location was fantastic, very close to everything. Aircon would have been a bonus but not having it did not detract from our stay. Price wise, apart from an expensive Service Fee, as a two bedroom property, it was good value but as we only needed one bedroom it did work out to be a bit pricey. Not having access to a pool was also very disappointing simply because of a "freak event" on the beach. At the start of our second week the beach became covered with a mound of seaweed which basically prevented swimming for 4 days. We love our swimming so a pool would have been welcome. Notwithstanding the above, we had a wonderful holiday.

Thanks for the review. I would like to point out that the Service Fee is the fee that is paid to the website by you, not to me the host. Little disappointed with the score if it was only due to the Service Fee.

Perfect stay for first time visit to Portugal

The condo and town were the perfect place to stay for our first time visiting Portugal. The condo was well located within walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants, the beachfront promenade and beach. Easy access to the Fisherman's Trail on either side of the town and driving to Lagos and Faro was straightforward. Paul is very good to communicate with and responds quite quickly to inquiries. The condo is very clean and is stocked with the basic necessities. The only drawback was the bed pillows, would have preferred if one set was thicker so that there was a choice. The community and businesses are very welcoming and make an extra effort to ensure you find anything that you need - from stamps to a table at a full restaurant. English is spoken in most places which was greatly appreciated. We highly enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back again. It was a great location away from the very busy tourism areas but within easy access if you wanted to visit them. We experienced many cultural and natural attractions without having to go too far.

Het appartement is prima, mooi gelegen. Communicatie met de eigenaar altijd vlot, Paul reageerde snel. Het appartement is goed en volledig ingericht. Met wasmachine, afwasser, ruime koelkast, vriezer, oven, magnetron. Er is voldoende serviesgoed en keukengerei, er is omgevingsinformatie, en gebruiksaanwijzingen van de apparatuur. Bedden zijn goed. Verwarming voor de koudere momenten.Het enige dat ons opviel tijdens ons verblijf (laatste week oktober) is dat het wat vochtig werd binnen, waardoor handdoeken na het douchen niet goed meer droogden en kleding na een regenbui ook niet.Verder hebben we een heerlijke week gehad.
