Mirabelle is a large luxuriously furnished gite. The modern spacious living room with open plan kitchen/dining area is furnished with two large sofas, one of which is a sofa bed and two armchairs. There is an LCD TV with UK channels, DVD, iPod dock & HIFI. There is a large dining table and the kitchen with granite worktop is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, ceramic hob and fan oven. Mirabelle has its own private garden with a shaded seating dining area and gas BBQ. The pool is just a few steps away, but if you prefer you can just relax in your own garden under your Mulberry tree. There are two large double bedrooms, the Master bedroom with queensize bed is ensuite, the second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. There are two spacious bathrooms, one with walk-in shower, fitted basin unit and WC, the master ensuite has a bath with overhead shower WC and fitted basin unit with storage. There is an additional separate WC.
Set within its own plum orchards and stunning gardens, Domaine Les Pruniers is a 4 hectare estate dating back to 1890. Located in the beautiful Lot et Garonne, close to the South Dordogne border and only 40 minutes drive from Bergerac airport and 1.5 hours from Bordeaux airport, Domaine Les Pruniers is the perfect base to explore both areas. The estate comprises three properties Mirabelle, Myrtille and Mure which have all been rated as 4 star accommodation by the French tourist board. All the properties are available to rent individually however you can also enjoy exclusive use of the estate with its large heated pool, petanque court, various games areas and acres of space by renting all three properties together with your friends or family. You can then enjoy having your own space getting together for meals or drinks and around the pool whenever you wish. Les Pruniers is within very easy reach of many bastide towns and villages including Villeneuve sur lot, Bergerac, Monpazier, Monflanquin, Agen, Duras, Eymet, Marmande, Pujols, Castilionnes, Lauzun and many more well known destinations in the area. Once you have finished exploring you can return to Les Pruniers, surrounded by stunning vistas, with an exceptional and spacious pool area and beautiful fragrant gardens. All the properties are stylishly and comfortably furnished and equipped with washing machines, dishwashers, fridges, ceramic hobs and combination microwave/ovens or fan oven and microwave. The bedrooms are large and airy with queen beds (160x200) with white cotton bedlinen. The bedroom windows are fitted with screens and/or shutters so in summer you can leave the windows open at night without having to worry about insects. All our properties are equipped with LCD TV's, iPod docks, DVD players, music centres, UK TV and French digital TV and free WiFi access.

Within a few metres of your gites you will find a beautiful 14m x 5.5m heated swimming pool with spacious sun terraces, plenty of sunbeds and parasols and there are plenty of shaded seating areas should you prefer to relax in the shade with a cool drink and a book. We have a children's play area with a large in ground trampoline, climbing frame and swings with slide and also a petanque court. Within the grounds there are acres of space for your children to run around and play a game of football or badminton. There is a large covered games area with table football, pool table and a ping pong table.

We are only 45 minutes drive from Bergerac airport, and 1.5 hours from Bordeaux. We are just a 5 minute drive to local shops in the small bastide town of Monclar D'Agenais or the local villages of Tombeboeuf and Monbahus and a 15 minute drive to Miramont, a popular bastide town with a large supermarket and many other shops. There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity, within a 10 to 20km radius you will find countless restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, ranging from 4 course menus for 12 euros (including wine!) to high end Michelin recommended establishments. During the summer months there are many night markets in the area where you can enjoy many varieties of food at the tables provided and dance the night away to the accompanying live entertainment. There are also plenty of day markets within easy reach which continue throughout the year.
