Vigna del Parroco 2 is a house with three holiday apartments located in Serralunga d'Alba, the noble heart of the Langhe, now a UNESCO heritage site and famous for the production of the best Piedmontese wines, first of all Barolo.
There are two apartments on the first floor and are equipped with kitchens equipped with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and have one or two bedrooms available according to the guests' needs. In addition, the apartments are equipped. heating and air conditioning. Each apartment has a private terrace with a panoramic view of the swimming pool and the hills where the best bunches of Nebbiolo grapes ripen, from which, after fermentation and aging of the wine for at least 5 years in the famous Slavonian oak barrels, the delicious Barolo wine .

The third apartment, which is a studio apartment, is presented in this description and is located on the ground floor. It is equipped with kitchen, 4 burner stove, electric oven, large fridge with freezer, dining table, rustic furnishings in the living area and 130cm sofa bed in the sleeping area. It also has an outdoor area with an exclusive garden and direct access to the swimming pool. The washing machine is located in another room and is shared with other apartments.
The house is located 300 m from the center of Serralunga where the most beautiful medieval castle of all the Langhe and Roero stands majestically and imposingly, a land rich in castles from different eras between 1200 and 1800. That of Serralunga had a specific military function as a fortress for sighting and defense against the invasions of the Saracens. By virtue of its position, the house allows guests to visit the village of Serralunga on foot and to go to the various restaurants (at least 5) without using the car, which is particularly convenient and safe when you want to taste the famous wines of the area accompanying them to the delicious gastronomic specialties of which the territory is rich including the famous Alba White Truffle. Every year in October and November the renowned white truffle fair is held in Alba, 15 km from Serralunga, which attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. Another locality not far from Serralunga is Bra where, every two years in September, the equally famous cheese fair (Cheese) sponsored by Slow food takes place, where the producers of the most famous and delicious cheeses from all over the world meet. For all these reasons, Vigna del Parroco 2 represents an ideal point for food and wine holidays and not only, from spring to late autumn.
Not far from your apartments there are numerous paths for walking in the hills and vineyards or paths suitable for cycling to Roddino, Bossolasco (757m s. L.m.) Monforte, Diano d'Alba, Montelupo, Albaretto, Dogliani, Murazzano, Marsaglia, Mombarcaro (896 m asl) from which the Ligurian sea can be seen on sunny days.
