Nafpaktos. Korintinlahden pohjoisrannalla sijaitseva Kreikka on yksi Kreikan luonnonkauneimmista paikoista. Maisema yhdistÀÀ molemmat vuoristoiset maastot, joita pohjoisen puolella on rikas kasvillisuus, ja etelÀssÀ pitkÀ rannikkoalue, joka tarjoaa lukuisia uskomattomia matalien rantojen ja turkoosi-sinisten vesien kanssa. IkÀÀn kuin tÀmÀ ei riitÀ, aluetta ympÀröi ja sitoo muinainen historia. Itse Nafpaktosin kaupungissa on pitkÀ historia, joka johtaa takaisin ennen muinaisia Peloponnesosian sotia, ja sen linnoitus on yksi parhaiten sÀilyneistÀ Kreikassa. Lukuisia historiallisia kohteita ympÀröi tÀtÀ aluetta joka vaiheessa, melkein mihin tahansa suuntaan. Vain muutaman kilometrin itÀÀn, vuoristossa sijaitsevat Delfin muinaisen temppelin rauniot. Itse huvila sijaitsee kukkulan laidalla, josta on nÀkymÀt Korinton lahden tuikottaviin kirkkaisiin vesiin. Nafpaktosin kaupunki ja linnoitus-linnoitus ovat 10 minuutin ajomatkan pÀÀssÀ. Alle 5 minuutin ajomatkan pÀÀssÀ pÀÀset rannalle, tai jos tunnet olosi hidas, voit sukeltaa uima-altaaseen samalla ihaillen merellÀ ylhÀÀltÀ. Omistaja on varmistanut, ettÀ huvila on mahdollisimman moderni mukavuuksien, mukavuuksien ja infrastruktuurin suhteen, yhdistÀen samalla taiteellisen nÀkemyksensÀ ja klassisen kosketuksensa luodakseen ainutlaatuisen mukavan ja tyylikkÀÀn kesÀkodin.

This was one of my most favorite stays ever. It was a little remote, not walkable to anything but central to beaches and Greece's biggest lake. The home is a really nice size and the yard and pool are lovely. It's private except for the next door neighbors which might as well be completely private. The surrounding mountains make a lovely back drop. The couches, dining area, and balconies make it perfect for longer stays, spreading out, and feeling 100% comfortable at all times of day.

Beautiful view, nice house, poor management

Manager was absent, relied on the neighbor. Did not provide for linen service or address questions on it. The house could have been cleaner, a lot of dust. Very confusing light switch situation. Horrible beds, very uncomfortable. The house itself was wonderful, great view and superb location. The owner should consider changing managers.

Wonderful !

We spent a lovely time in Villa Luna. The view is amazing, the villa is confortable and very well equipped. The nearest beach is 1.5 km drive and there are other beaches not so far. Nafpaktos is 10 mn drive. Lot of things to discover and do in the area.

I hope to fit all the well deserved praise for the house and the wonderful people who gave us best holiday of our lives!First of all, our booking communication with Alex who manages the property was impeccable. He kindly and immediately answered all our little questions before we arrived. It was a relief to know that we will have what we need and he sorted out our booking with great professionalism. For me at least it's massively important to feel trust during the booking process, so thank you Alex for making sure that it was all flawless. Marios, the owner, followed up with excellent inside tips for the area, such a lovely person! And as my husband likes to say, the MVP was Christos who's hospitality is the stuff of dreams! He is the property caretaker and his own house is nearby. Not only he showed us around, he made sure we're comfortable but he also cooked a feast for us twice! He is truly the most caring and generous human ever, and I don't remember the last time we laughed so much. The house is a such a beauty. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, everything is extremely clean and accessible, and the kitchen is very well organized. And the pool, oh my heart! I felt like royalty sipping my morning coffee, looking at the spectacular view and enjoying a swim.We had booked another place for the second week of our holidays and we wish we never left this heavenly location. Many blessings to Marios, Alex and Christos. We will definitely visit again!

Villa Luna

We enjoyed a brilliant week in Villa Luna. The communication we received from the owner before we travelled was excellent, and we were able to ask all those little questions you have. The villa was exactly as advertised with excellent air con in most rooms and the views from the property across the Corinthia Sea were stunning. The pool was great and was cleaned every few days. As per other reviews, you need to have a car rental for Villa Luna, and it’s a 5 minute drive to the beach in Skaloma with its crystal clear waters and numerous tavernas (Tok Tok was our favourite!). It’s a 20 minute drive to the stunning Venetian city of Nafpaktos with so many excellent restaurants- not to be missed! In summary, fantastic villa with a fantastic owner in a fantastic location!

Very highly recommend!!

Our holiday was perfect. The house itself is very beautiful, exactly as we expected from the pictures. Actually, it was even better! We started our days with breakfast at the lovely stone patio, taking in all the beauty of the gorgeous view and then following with a relaxing day by the pool. It was exactly what we needed! We also visited the nearby beach, the crystal waters are amazing! We walked there from the house but do keep in mind the way back is uphill so you might prefer to use a car. We took a day trip to famous Delphi and we also spent most of our afternoons at Nafpaktos town which is lovely! There is easy, quick access to everything like shops and wonderful restaurants. Special mention must go to Alex who arranged our booking with speed and who kindly answered our questions. Also to the owner Marios who was incredibly helpful and gave us insights on where to go. Thank you!

Brilliant Family Holiday

I could not recommend Villa Luna highly enough. My husband, myself, and 2 teenage daughters stayed at Villa Luna for 2 weeks (August 2022). Villa Luna itself is beautiful and has everything and more that one needs. The views from the Villa are stunning! There is a lot to do in the surrounding area. Starting with all the must-see villages scattered along the coastline, starting in Nafpaktos and ending near Delphi. Spending a day in Delphi, which was beautiful and definitely worth the drive, Hiring a boat for the day (highly recommend although costly), and Kitesurfing at the local beach (Kite Beach), which my husband and two girls thoroughly enjoyed not to mention a day visit to Trizonia Island, the Blue Lake and finally the Venetian Castle in Nafpaktos. The owner Marios and Christos (the neighbor) were Brilliant! Very helpful and did what they could to make our stay perfect. Alex helped us with our booking and all the information needed before our departure. Thank you, Marios, Christos, and Alex for a wonderful and memorable family holiday. The Taylors.

Superb!

What a lucky find! Villa Luna is a fabulous well equipped and comfortable villa with a breathtakingly stunning view of the sea and the Rion Antirion bridge! We enjoyed an excellent two weeks holiday here in June. It was really clean, the beds were comfy, Wi-Fi good and the pool was lovely with its wonderful sea views. It was very relaxing! You will need a car as its slightly outside of town up on the hill but in only 10 minutes drive you will get to the shops, restaurants and lots of beaches. We also visited ancient Delphi which was about an hour and a half’s drive away but well worth a visit as its a stunning place. All communications were really responsive and friendly. Alex from Blue Window Holidays was really helpful and reassuring at initial booking stage and the villa owner Marios and his local friends were on hand throughout to show us where to find the villa (even at 5am in the dawn when we arrived as our plane was delayed!) and to answer any questions and give recommendations. Great customer service was provided throughout our stay! Thank you. We hope to be back one day!

Ons verblijf in Villa Luna/ our stay @Villa Luna

Ontzettend genoten in de prachtige villa Luna. Fijne bedden, een gezellige inrichting, alles is aanwezig wat je nodig hebt en natuurlijk het prachtige en verfrissende zwembad. In de buurt is van alles te doen, zoals de heerlijke stad Nafpaktos, over de brug bezoek je gezellig Patras en ook Delphi vonden wij een aanrader. Bedankt voor dit geweldige verblijf. Dus twijfel niet om te gaan! (Gezin met 3 kinderen van 4, 8 en 10 jaar oud).Enjoyed the beautiful villa Luna immensely. Comfortable beds, a cozy interior, everything you need and of course the beautiful and refreshing pool. There is plenty to do nearby, such as the lovely city of Nafpaktos, across the bridge you can visit cozy Patras and we also found Delphi a must. Thank you for this great stay. So don't hesitate to go! (Family with 3 children aged 4, 8 and 10).

Perfect hidden gem!

This place is a hidden gem! We are actually reluctant to tell the world about it. Ha! The villa is amazing, exactly as advertised and even better! Very clean, very tasteful, down to the last detail. The view is breathtaking and we took many pictures to always remember the peace and beauty. Especially the view from the pool area and the bedrooms upstairs was just stunning. Waking up and the first thing your eyes look at is the sea. I don’t know how to describe the feeling! We also enjoyed the area around the villa. There are many things to do and discover. Many authentic Greek villages with kind and welcoming locals, taverns, and historical sites. The area is seemingly undiscovered by the mainstream...still... So if you want to experience one of the most gorgeous places in Greece without all the noisy tourists, this is the place to visit. Thank you to the owners who suggested many wonderful places, and even helped us with restaurant reservations. Two thumbs up!!!

A little paradise!!!

We came back for another visit to this lovely villa after two years and I dare say we had an even better time! The indoors is magnificent, very clean and very well equipped. Waking up to the sea view is the best start of the day and something we were so happy to experience again. Actually, we were admiring the sea so much from our bedroom windows that we even braved a quick swim, even though it was April. We couldn’t resist! It was so beautiful and so close that we had to try! The garden and patio area is more spacious than it seems in the pictures, very quiet and private. We spent a lot of time by the pool, reading our books and never felt disturbed by anyone. The location is perfect. Nafpaktos is so lovely, unlike some overtly touristic, almost “plastic” locations that feel like a fake façade. You will see real people who build their lovely homes and shops, live a good life and welcome you with honest hospitality. This time we visited the Nafpaktos castle and I can’t believe we missed it last time! Definitely go. Also, the villa is so near to shops and restaurants that we always had whatever our mood called for, either amazing ingredients for making a meal ourselves or tasting the local delicacies at tavernas and restaurants. Thank you Alex for our booking, Marios and Christos who welcomed us, gave us recommendations and made us feel like visiting good friends again!

Traumhaftes Objekt mit atemberaubendem Ausblick

Wir hatten ein wundervolles, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit einem tollen, gepflegten Garten und Pool vorgefunden. Der Ausblick und die Lage waren grandios. Der Verwalter und der Inhaber sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wieder hierher kommen, gerade weil die Region touristisch nicht so ĂŒberlaufen ist und wirklich noch ein kleiner Geheimtipp ist. UrsprĂŒngliches Griechenland mit toller Geschichte, feinem Essen und Trinken und unglaublich tollen Menschen!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Betreuung war nett und das Haus war schön eingerichtet und sauber, ebenso wie der Garten und der Pool. Die Aussicht war sehr schön!

Beautiful and relaxing villa

We had a great time in villa Luna. It is a beautiful villa in a great location with a magnificent view day and night. The space is very comfortable with high quality finishes, very nice layout that is appropriate for a variety of families and groups, and fully equipped for a worry-free stay. It was also sparkly clean and fresh throughout with great attention to detail and modern but homely character. We had a warm welcome by kyrios Christos, who helped with any queries we had during our stay. We really enjoyed the local oil, wine and treats that were waiting for us. The villa is very close to beautiful pebbly beaches, nice restaurants and historic towns. It is a real gem, and a truly relaxing and hassle-free place!

Schöne Villa

Wir haben das Haus genauso, wie beschrieben und erwartet angetroffen und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Gerne hĂ€tten wir auch den Besitzer kennengelernt. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfĂŒllt. Einziger Minuspunkt: Es fehlt ein Sonnenschirm auf der Terrasse, wo man sich vor der starken Abendsonne schĂŒtzen kann, um draussen essen zu können. Sonst wirklich nichts zu bemĂ€ngeln! Wir haben unsere Ferien sehr genossen...

Amazing!!!

This was our first time visiting Greece and we couldn’t have asked for more! Absolutely immaculate villa. Clean & tidy, organized, and equipped with everything we needed. The view from our bedrooms and the garden, especially in the evening, was magical. The pool was perfect for morning swims before breakfast and quick dips in the evenings. The beach is very close as well. The waters of the gulf are so clean & clear you almost think it’s an aquarium!!! There were almost only Greeks in the area and they were very hospitable wherever we went. We visited nearby villages and taverns, and every night we went somewhere new. We couldn’t believe that this place hasn’t been discovered by more foreign tourists yet! The owner, Marios, was so very warm and kind. He showed us all the special places to visit for food and drink and helped us out with the language – it was all Greek to us! Alex, the manager, made the booking process so very easy and was quick to respond to our many questions. We only wish we could stay longer, but we will definitely be visiting again!
