This coquettish holiday home is provided with astonishing views over the Sierra de Cadiz’s mountains. It has two bedrooms, each of which has a double bed and air-con, and a bathroom with shower. The spacious dining-living room is characterised by high ceilings. It has a fireplace and it shares space with a completely equipped open kitchen. There are electric radiators to warm up the rooms.

The outdoor area is stone-built. You can find outdoor dining area made of stone, stone walls and even the ground is full of stones. There is a barbecue and the fenced private pool revels in the aforementioned lake and mountain views.

We had a fantastic short stay at this gorgeous rustic home with the most amazing view. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the pool but there was plenty to do visiting the beautiful hillside towns. The cottage was very rustic but had everything we needed and Delia was very helpful.

This place is a true gem, the history behind the house is very cool, ask the owners. It is a bit out of the way from things, but it is worth it for the scenic views and tranquility of the property. Clean and spacious, the water gets very hot and the beds are comfy. The small town of El Gastor is the closest near by. Everything closes during the day for a few hours, so sometimes it was difficult to find a place to eat. We went to a resturant off of highway A-374 but I can't remember the name of it, we ate there twice and it was fantastic. It was about a 12-15min drive from the property and doesn't close during the day. We easily traveled by car to nearby cities: Ronda (30 min), Seville (1.5 hrs), and Sentinel (30min). Highly recommend!

Was für ein wirklich einzigartiges Anwesen … Das Haus hat eine angenehme Größe und bleibt auch an heißen Tagen angenehm kühl, dank der Klimaanlage im oberen Schlafzimmer mit Galerie. Es ist makellos sauber und verfügt über einen guten Vorrat an Handtüchern und Küchentüchern. Es gibt viele Sitzgelegenheiten auf der Terrasse und am Pool, mit viel Schatten, um sich zurückzulehnen und ein gutes Buch zu lesen. Es liegt sehr abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade und ein Auto ist notwendig. Es ist das alte Spanien, alles endet um 14 Uhr und beginnt um 18 Uhr wieder, Siestas sind obligatorisch, aber hey, man ist ja im Urlaub! :o) Wir hatten eine äußerst erholsame Woche, einen Ort zum Abschalten. Wir wurden praktisch zu Einsiedlern, und genau das wollten wir. Wir wurden nie müde von der atemberaubenden Aussicht und der Sonnenuntergang hat uns nie enttäuscht. Einfach wunderschön und wir würden gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank, Delia (und deine lieben Eltern)

Die Aussicht auf die Berge und den See war unglaublich und die Sonnenuntergänge waren wunderschön. El Gastor ist nur eine kurze Autofahrt (oder 30 Minuten zu Fuß) entfernt und bietet schöne Geschäfte und Restaurants. Vielen Dank, dass Sie uns haben.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Das Haus ist wunderschön, innen schöner als auf den Bildern. Sehr geräumig und kühl, mit einem Kamin, den man an kühlen Abenden anzünden kann. Das Highlight ist der Außenbereich. Die Aussicht ist spektakulär und man erlebt abends einen vollen Sonnenuntergang. Das Haus war sehr sauber und der Gastgeber war immer aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert! Man braucht ein Auto, um dorthin zu gelangen, und wir wurden vom Stadtrand aus hineingeführt. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

Exceptionnel!

Nous venons de passer 11 jours merveilleux dans cette location magnifique. La maison est parfaite avec tout ce qu'il faut pour être confortable. Nous avons mangé tous nos repas sur la terrasse en profitant de la vue exceptionnelle. La maison est spacieuse et tout avait été mis à notre disposition pour éviter de surcharger nos valises (draps, serviettes de bain, serviettes piscine, torchons, éponges, liquide vaisselle...) La piscine est un gros plus et même si l'eau était fraiche en cette saison, les enfants et mon mari s'y sont baignés chaque jour. L'endroit est magique et les randonnées multiples qui offrent des points de vue superbes sur la région. Nous étions au calme mais pouvions nous rendre à pieds jusqu'au village d'El Gastor pour profiter de ce village typique et très beau. Les habitants sont extrêmement gentils et malgré le fait que nous parlions pas espagnol, nous avons reussi à nous faire comprendre et toutes les personnes rencontrées ont toujours été très aimables. L'emplacement est idéal et au centre de tous les lieux que nous souhaitions visiter. Ainsi, nous avons pu visiter l'Alcazar et la cathédrale de Séville, située à 1h30 de la maison. Nous avons visité également l'Alhambra de Grenade (magnifique aussi), située à 2h de la maison. Cadix, Malaga, les villages blancs dont Ronda, Setenil, le Caminito del Rey. Tout a été extraordinaire. Nous remercions beaucoup Delia et ses parents qui sont restés très discrets mais très prévenants. Merci encore.

Lovely, peaceful stay in El Gastor

House is right around the corner from El Gastor. Very clean and all the amenities. Fantastic view. Pool is gorgeous - but ICY cold. Great location for exploring white villages of Zahara, Olvera and Ronda.
