Each modern cabin is architect designed to interact with nature while preserving guest privacy. Nothing like these exist in Western North Carolina! Fully appointed kitchens feature cherry cabinetry, rainforest green granite, and full sized stainless appliances. Each cabin features large covered back deck overlooking the forest, giving the feeling of a treehouse. Bathrooms are designed for private shower room and private water closet, allowing for multiple users at once. Custom artwork and furniture can be found throughout each cabin. Stackable washer / dryer is included in each mudroom entry.

This listing is for cabin #10. The cabin features one king bed, one bedroom with two extended twin beds, and fold out couch with two twin beds. Sleeps up to 6.

In addition to hundreds of miles of nearby trails, guests have exclusive access to the Pilot Cove trail system, totaling over 2 miles on our 64 acre property directly bordering Pisgah National Forest. Trails are open for both mountain biking and hiking. We also have a 1/3 mile closed loop 'flow track' with wooden berm for guest mountain biking use.

Convenient location and great hospitality!

The team at Pilot Cove were so responsive and accommodating—we really couldn’t have asked for more out of our stay! The cabin was located perfectly for convenience to food and entertainment, while also making us feel like we were immersed in Nature. Hard to beat this experience—we hope to return again sometime!

Great location

Stayed for a long weekend. Property is perfect for a short stay. Right at the entrance to Pisgah for quick hikes, etc. Several good local restaurants very nearby. There was a coffee truck at the end of the road that we visited daily. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in Pilot Cove two years in a row for camp pickup weekend. The units are simple but completely adequate. We love the proximity to Dolly’s and Pisgah. The Hub is a fun little spot as well. We recommend pilot cove for sure and will be back.

Modern comfortable designer luxury private escape

Spacious covered front porch with leash hook and spray hose to rinse off our muddy dog after an early morning hike on the property trails. Black towels provided for dirty bike or dog cleaning. Plenty of whimsical hooks to keep all our travel crap out of our way. Clean new designer tile shower with large pump shampoo and conditioner dispenser. Gorgeous hardwood floors, plush soft couch blankets provided, rustic barnwood beds with luxurious bedding and impressive mattresses. Quality Black out shades. VERY quiet individually controlled air conditioning unit in each room. The large windows, high ceilings, and large deck draw you outside to relax for hours. Even though cabins are close together, they are positioned perfectly so you feel very private. Many hooks on deck to hang fun hammock provided. One minute from bike shop with craft beer, artisan coffee truck, food truck, and top notch BBQ. We'll be back!

We stayed here during the Pisgah Stage Race. Cabin was comfortable for two adults and one dog. It was clean and located near everything we could want. I would highly recommend this location and property.

The property was new and clean. There was a beautiful deck and the cabins are walking distance to coffee and groceries. There are private trails on the property and it’s right on the edge of Pisgah Forest.
