The chief occupations are growing of grapes, olive trees, fishing and tourism. In the bays are two long beaches. Couple of little islands are in the front of the town Primošten.On the slopes around are well known Primošten’s vineyards. Town is one of the most beautiful town in Adriatic and famous tourist centre in Dalmaci. . Typical celebrations and entertainments are in summer times. The island connected with the land with bridge at 16th century. The name Primošten is from Croatian word primostit, which mean connect with bridge. Around a town were walls with towers, but they were moved in 19th century. Presently is Primošten connect with the land with route. The church of St.Juraj from 15th century was remodel in 1760. Harbour is protecting with northeast and northwest winds.
