Alojamiento tranquilo, soleado y orientado al sur

Magníficamente situado con mucho espacio para seis huéspedes para relajarse cómodamente. Impresionantes vistas al valle desde la terraza de la veranda y a solo treinta minutos a pie para llegar a la bahía del mar y a las comodidades del pueblo o para caminar / andar en bicicleta al parque nacional Exmore.
El albergue incluye una habitación doble con baño privado con ducha y TV. La habitación doble tiene dos camas de 3 pies; Ambas habitaciones tienen mucho espacio de almacenamiento. Hay una habitación con literas con hermosas vistas. Baño compartido con bañera y ducha y toallero eléctrico. Amplia cocina / comedor y sala de estar con mucho espacio.
Hay estacionamiento para dos autos e incluye un área de jardín con césped alrededor de la mayor parte del albergue y un área cubierta con una mesa y sillas al aire libre.

Lovely place. Very clean and comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen. I would highly recommend, but I was surprised to be asked to strip the beds before leaving. Maybe I’m old school, but I expect to leave a place clean and tidy, not start doing the actual house keeping when I’ve paid for somewhere.

Comfortable lodge with excellent views

Great property in quiet location with wonderful views from the terrace. Well equipped kitchen. We had a good time staying here.

Amazing location!

What a place to stay! Incredible views over Combe Martin and a stroll to the beach. Accommodation was clean, warm and welcoming. Looking forward to booking again.

Apple tree Lodge

The location was ideal to visit the North Devon coast - which suited us as I wanted to go to Croyde Bay. The lodge was quiet with lovely views. The lodge provided everything we wanted or could have needed. We really enjoyed our stay.

Summer Holiday

We had a lovely stay in Apple Tree Lodge, its in a great location to explore North Devon, and we even ventured into Cornwall! The Lodge was very well equipped and had lots of space for our family of six. Caroline and Jon were great hosts and I would happily recommend staying here!

Stunning Views

We stayed for 5 weeks and had an amazing time, loved every minute! So relaxing. Definitely recommend doing some meditation or Yoga with Caroline.

Comfortable Lodge with a fantastic view

I would highly recommend this property, it’s very comfortable and has a wonderful terrace with an amazing view. It’s in a really good location, with lots of lovely beaches nearby. My five year old loved the rock pools at Coombe Martin. Jon the owner is very friendly and recommended us a hidden beach which we would never have found on our own, which was beautiful.

Very nice cottage

We had a very pleasant stay in the cottage. It was clean and comfortable and a perfect place for exploring the beautiful area. While we did not personally meet the owners, the written communication was always quick and kind and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Lovely stay with great views and beach

We had a good break with plenty to see and do in and around Combe Martin. The lodge was clean, spacious and the beds and bedlinen were very comfortable. The nearby Co-op was a bonus. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. The views from the sundeck were marvellous and the peace and quiet, broken only by owls hooting, was wonderful. We would come again!

Peaceful location, cosy accommodation

The property is up on the hill with a wonderful view. The accommodation was roomy, well appointed, clean and welcoming. The town/beach is about half hour walk but there are a few shops (bakery & supermarket) about halfway. A lovely stay, thank you.

car essential and track up to lodge a bit hairy but thankfully short! Quality of refurb and sheets/towels very good. Wifi faster than home!

quiet and comfortable

The Lodge was perfect for our stay. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and extremely dog friendly which made a relaxing week a possibility. It is a great base for visiting sites like Ilfracombe, Lynton and Valley of the Rocks, whilst Combe Martin gives easy access to the coastal path. The new Co-op at the bottom of the lane is a big bonus too if you are self caterers like we were. We had a lovely week!

Perfect, loved it!

We had a short break for 2 nights over christmas day, There was a Christmas tree and lights put up for us as well as some welcome gifts left for our arrival. The lodge was spotless, well equipped and warm! There was 6 of us including my 83year old nan who has mobility issues and there was no problems at all The view was fab you could hear the church bells in the distance as well as one morning you could hear the wolves howling from the nearby zoo! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the lodge was just perfect in every way, Thankyou so much

A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Apple Tree Lodge, we found the property to be much more spacious than pictured. The views from the terrace were beautiful and we will miss having our dinners out there. We found the property very clean and had mostly everything we could have needed - could have done with some oven gloves and bigger pans but only a minor blip. There were some problems with the WiFi (not a fault with the property) but were promptly fixed, it was very fast and reliable. We would gladly return and stay again.

Thank you for writing such a comprehensive review. Unfortunately you experienced a slip up with the oven gloves, as we supply a new pair with every new guest. So we are sorry to hear that you did not have any. A bigger cooking pot is now in the lodge. We would love to see you return for a further stay in the lodge.
