Fantástica casa en la Plaza de Doña Elvira, considerada la mas bella de Sevilla, a 5 minutos andando a la Catedral, en el Histórico Barrio de Santa Cruz.
Es una casa entera, con jardín y piscina privado.
Su fachada da a la Plaza de Doña Elvira, a 2 minutos de los Reales Alcázares, en el centro histórico de la ciudad.
A pesar de estar rodeada de restaurantes, bares, museos, dentro es un remanso de tranquilidad y paz, y su jardín es el paraíso.
Se entra a la propiedad por una cancela de hierro. Se accede al jardín y piscina , y a continuación se llega a la puerta de entrada a la Casa Grande con su imponente escalera. Llegamos a la planta primera donde se encuentra la cocina, el comedor totalmente independiente y el gran salon. También aquí se encuentra la pequeña habitación para una persona con su baño con ducha en suite. Decorada con muebles antiguos y techos y molduras bellísimos. Después subimos por la escalera a la segunda planta donde se encuentran los tres dormitorios dobles con sus baños y el pequeño cuarto de estar donde esta el sofa o sofa cama si fuera necesario. Los ventanales del pasillo dan a la Plaza con una luz increíble.
Desde el jardin, pegado a la casa, se accede por otra puerta a la Torre.
Tras subir por una escalera de piedra de caracol, se accede primero a una gran terraza mirando al jardín y piscina. A continuación se accede al salón, a un lado de este se tiene un baño con ducha, y a otro lado del salon a una buhardilla donde se encuentra la cocina, pequeña zona de estar y el dormitorio con dos camas individuales donde hay otra pequeña terraza dando a la calle. A continuación por la escalera de caracol subimos a la habitación principal con baño en suite y unas vistas maravillosas. Si seguimos subiendo, llegamos a la azotea desde donde se ve todo el barrio Santa Cruz, sus increíbles vistas y la Catedral.
Realmente es una de las casas considerada de las mas bellas de Sevilla y única con jardín y piscina en este barrio histórico.

Incredible house, incredible location!

Our 5 night stay in the house was amazing! Bang in the heart of Sevilla, it's an ideal base to explore the city from, with the option of returning home to enjoy the peace, space and coolness of the house, garden and pool whenever suits. You are surrounded by great cafes, restaurants, shops and culture and the pool is just brilliant for R&R after taking the city by storm! We were 7 adults and 3 children, and there was more than enough space for everyone. It's worth noting that there are winding stairs involved in getting to the bedrooms off the tower but the climb is definitely worthwhile! For the generous size of the house and outdoor spaces, the kitchen is relatively small but that isn't a problem as there's no need to spend much time cookng at home when the local gastronomic options are so good. I'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the house for a bonanza Sevilla city break - unforgetable in the best possible way! All communications with the owner were easy and enjoyable - many thanks to Rosario!

We had a great stay with a large group! 4 nights right in the heart of the city. Couldn't have asked for a better location with easy walking access to all the best sites and restaurants. It was very hot in Seville during our stay (over 110 F at times) but the AC units worked well and the pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. The place is huge with lots of quirky spaces to stay that gives it extra charm. And the view of the Cathedral at night from the top of the tower is extraordinary. The kitchen is not huge but we always ate out (you are in the heart of Seville!) so that was not an issue for us. We had 2 toddlers (3 and 2) with us and they were very comfortable and happy. Elena was very communicative and helpful. If you want a large space with a pool in the best part of Seville, this is the place! We could not have been happier!

Incredible home in the heart of Sevilla

I cannot say enough about this property! My family and I had an amazing four days in Sevilla and staying in this home was one of the highlights. It is absolutely perfect for large groups, beautifully decorated, impeccably maintained and will make you wish you lived in Sevilla. We loved not having to eat out every night and enjoyed having dinner outside on one of the many incredible patios. The property managers were a delight and so helpful. They met us at the house to show us around and answered all of our questions. In fact, we forgot a few items at the house and they were so quick to respond and shipped the items to us at our next destination. You cannot beat the location in the beautiful Santa Cruz neighborhood on a beautiful plaza within minutes of restaurants and cafes. Really its walkable to everything and the views of Cathedral at night from the home is unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!

Incredible Location & Unique Historical Property

This is an incredible property. It is in the heart of the old town Santa Cruz neighborhood, right on a small plaza with orange trees and outdoor dining. The views from the upper floors are remarkable. It is furnished with antiques and art, but also very comfortable furniture. One night we were on the roof at the top of the tower stairs and could see the Cathedral lit up, and a light show at the Alcazar gardens. Another day we saw the bells ringing in the Cathedral bell tower. We were a party of 7, with 2 couples and a couple and child. There was plenty of space and each family had their own private area.There are a lot of stairs as mentioned in another review. So, for people with mobility challenges, this might not be a good match. During the mid-day and evening dining hours, if it is good weather, there is some noise from the plaza. Closing the shutters can remedy this. The kitchen is equipped with a stove top, microwave, and small convection oven. I cooked a couple of dinners on the stove top, but we ate other large meals outOur hosts were incredible. Vehicles are not allowed in the area of the villa. So, our driver dropped us a few blocks away. Unexpectantly, our host showed up to meet us and help us to the property. Communication and response on any issue were excellent. There was a notebook with locations of recommended restaurants and grocery stores.There are groceries, bakeries, and other shops within walking distance. The Cathedral and Alcazar are right next door.

Magical Family Christmas

Our family of 13 truly enjoyed this magnificent villa in the heart of old Seville. Not only was the property spacious, private, breathtaking, walkable, but Rosario and Elena went out of their way to have it decorated for the holiday - right down to gifts under the tree! We had a truly remarkable holiday surrounded by the villa’s beautiful decor and Seville’s memorable treasures.

Perfect location!

I was in Seville with my family for vacation. This home has an amazing location and allowed for all 12 of us to stay together in the same space. We were able to walk to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors - everything. The area was also very safe - we were close to everything. Check in was very flexible and we were welcomed by the host who made sure everything was in order for our stay. The outside areas in the house were not as nice as we thought they would be but we didn't really need to use them anyway. The one thing that was difficult was the stairs - there are many, many stairs in the main house and in the tower. There is not an elevator to carry luggage up so everything must be carried. This was an obstacle for a few people in our group. If you don't mind the stairs, I would highly recommend this house for a visit to Seville.

Chateau near the Cathedral

The house was wonderful. I just have one caveat. There are many stairs. The three principal bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. The other two rooms are 24 and/or 50 winding stairs up. It can be a bit of a challenge for people who are older. Our group managed, but it’s good to know ahead of time. Otherwise, everyone loved the place.

A Dream Come True - The Royal Treatment

To say the villa is stunning is almost an understatement. It truly felt as if we had three days in our own castle and it will be time that will stay with us forever. It is in a very serene part of the old town, with beautiful rooms and views. The spiral staircase up to the tower is a bit of a long, semi-intimidating walk (especially with luggage) and not best for people with mobility issues. However, the stairs in the rest of the house were very accessible. The air conditioning in the rooms worked extremely well; somehow, the pool was cold even on a 100-degree day! The company that manages the house is outstanding! They provided several recommendations and helped secure a taxi service to the train station upon our departure. A person in our party left their prescription glasses on a taxi trip back to the bus station. Elena personally reached out to the taxi company several times to track down the glasses and is mailing them back to us in the USA. If we are lucky enough to visit Seville again I will be returning to this villa!

Stunning vacation rental in the heart of Sevilla

When we arrived in this beautiful property we were speachless! The building is amazing and offers a lot of wonderful places inside and outside for a relaxing time. One of the best rentals I‘ve ever stayed!

Fairytale stay at the Villa Doña Elvira

Pictures and words cannot do justice to our magical stay at the Villa Doña Elvira. From the location to the ceiling mouldings, everything was perfection. Tucked in the corner of the Plaza Doña Elvira, the villa is in the historic center, right next to the Cathedral and Alcázar. In the old town, the narrow streets make it impossible for cars to access. So the only downside is having to lug your bags through the cobblestone streets - but it's not far, and arriving at the villa makes it all worthwhile. Designed by the famous Spanish architect, Fernando Chueca, the villa has a private pool (too cold to use when we were there in March), several courtyards and balconies, and a tower with a spiral staircase with 83 steps leading to incomparable views of the city. The worst part was having to leave!

Un château en Espagne

Nous étions un groupe de 11 personnes et nous avons apprécié cette tès belle maison au mobilier atypique mais confortable. La maison est très bien située au calme pour visiter toute la ville à pied. L'odeur des orangers en fleur et le chant des oiseaux rend cet endroit magique. Elena est une hôtesse très sympathique et très serviable. Une très bonne adresse pour un groupe avec beaucoup d'espace.

Fabulous Villa

Fabulous Grand Villa in the heart of the old city of Sevilla. Beautiful furnishings surround you, but still make it a comfortable experience. We had our family of 12 with our children and grandchildren and everyone loved it.

Magnifique séjour, et disponibilité remarquable.

Lieu magnifique, chargé de culture et d'histoire, et parfaitement adapté pour un très grand groupe familial (inclus un studio pour les adolescents). Le tout au coeur du vieux Séville, à 5 minutes à pied de l'Alcazar ou de la Cathédrale. Nous y avons passé les fêtes de fin d'année en famille, ce fut parfait, inclus les conseils et les échanges avec le propriétaire et les personnes sur place. Merci de mettre un tel lieu à la location !

Wonderful stay

This fantastic property right in the thick of Old Town Seville is perfect. Bedrooms large and comfortable, very rare large outside area with pool and great communal space. One draw back was the kitchen but we weren't there to cook so didnt matter. Very easy to contact the friendly host who replied quickly was flexible. We loved our stay.
