Great time at Aquamar

Another great stay at Aquamar. We were here in November sailing and loved the property and location so much we stayed again during the spring regatta.

Aquamar Stay

Our stay was wonderful, suite was beautiful and clean. Had all the amenities we needed and perfect homebase for our sailing regatta. Looking forward to coming back!

We were notified the day before we arrived at the property that if we wanted a sponge, dishwasher soap, kitchen rag, garbage bags we would have to buy a kitchen starter kit for 15 euro! What a sponge doesnt come with the kitchen, now let me say this I dont want to use some dirty bacteria infested sponge but I think that a sponge, dish soap, garbage bags should be considered part of the cost of the place and not an ADD ON! We were happy that the place was available before usual 4 pm check in, BUT we had to wait for the 1 person who was doing all the check ins that day to have time to check us in. there is no key pad its old fashion key and you have to sign a contract that if you lose the key you have to pay a fee, they MUST meet you at the apt to give you the garage door fob, the key, get you to sign, go over whatever while you are tired from a long flight and dont feel like standing around doing this. We had a hot water tank failure but they fixed right away, we had ants they came right away. We had family sharing the apt with us who arrived the next day they were told to pick up the keys at the office, they arrived and office person said she didnt have the keys, lack of communication. We had a dolce gusto coffee machine and absolutely no starter pods, had to buy them, Location is ok, underground parking good, some whatsapp communcation not answered promptly, hairdryer attachment didnt fit the hairdryer, beds ok comfortable, pool was overcrowded, store right in front

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that our team was able to respond promptly to the hot water and ant issues. As a self-catering property, kitchen supplies are not included in the accommodation rate. On arrival, we provide two toilet rolls per bathroom, shampoo/shower gel per guest, and bin bags in the bins. The kitchen kit is optional with an additional cost (15eur and includes 5x 30L bags, 50ml manual dish detergent, 2 surface detergent strips, 1 sponge, 1 cloth, 4 dishwasher strips, 2 laundry machine strips). We value personal contact with our guests, which is why we provide an in-person check-in rather than keypad access. Whenever the property is ready before the official 4pm check-in time, we are happy to offer earlier access, subject to staff availability. At check-in, guests are provided with two contact numbers: our office number (from 9am to 6pm), and an emergency number (from 6pm to 9am). WhatsApp messages sent to alternative numbers may not receive an immediate response, as those team members may be off duty. Two sets of keys are provided at check-in and guests are asked to sign for their receipt and responsibility. We apologise for the miscommunication regarding your family’s keys and appreciate your feedback. We always aim to provide prompt assistance throughout our guests’ stay. We hope you and your family enjoyed your stay and your time in the Algarve, and we wish you all the best for your future travels.

Very shallow pool section ideal for toddlers. Water cool, but bareable in September heat. Super spacious apartment, smart TV, east terrace facing garden. Only gripe was lack of kitchen basics like no cooking oil, milk, sugar, washing gel, all would have been very useful when just arriving. Supermarket very handy nextdoor.

Clever Details is management company based in Vilamoura, our office is near the casino. We have available a 24h emergency number. All of our self catering villas and apartments have a Municipal Rental Licence (AL) which includes fire safety equipment and electricity and gas inspection. IMPORTANT: Check in from 16:00h until 18:00h. Any changes to the previously stated times must always be informed and agreed by CleverDetails. There is an extra charge for Meet & Greet after 18:00h: between 18:00h and 24:00h - 35 euros; between 24:00h and 01:00h - 50 euros; between 01:00h and 09:00h - 100 euros (subject to availability).
The client must have a minimum age of 25 years old to be able to book accommodation with CleverDetails, Lda., throughout the all stay a person with a minimum age of 25 years old should remain in the accommodation. A valid identification document with photograph must be showed on arrival.
