Relaxing and Peaceful
My friend and I stayed at this lovely vacation home in May. It is very peaceful. We saw deer, many birds and a coyote. It is up on a hill so you have a great veiw of the valley and the hosts are real nice and have a lovely lavender farm.
We plan to go again in the future.
I rented this wonderful cottage for the month of April and it was perfect ! ! !
The view is fabulous with Mt Baker, the Juan de Fuca Straits, and the San Juan Islands. What a joy to wake up and be on the deck to see it all. Gary and Marcella have made this VRBO a place I started to call home soon after I arrived. It was warm and cozy on the chilly, cloudy days and always bright with the sliding glass doors to the deck and windows around the back. Yet it was private in the bedrooms. I traveled to Seattle to pick up my sister from Connecticut who stayed with me the last week. She also adored the cottage. I wish I could have stayed longer. Everything I needed was supplied in the home. The lavender products from the Cedarbrook Lavender Shop were a treat to sample. I hope I can return soon to this very special home.

Charming seaview cottage!
We had a great time exploring Sequim for a long weekend and enjoyed this cute and comfortable cottage, located at the end of the cul-de-sac of an established neighborhood of high quality, view homes! Very clean, cute decor and well insulated, this cottage overlooks Nourish Sequim restaurant and the historic Bell House with wonderful views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Mt. Baker. Really stunning! The covered deck is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views, whatever the weather, even with Highway 101 nearby. The city of Sequim is just across the highway. The location of the cottage makes getting everywhere very easy! Deer often meander through the farm below, morning and evening. We would have loved to visit with the owners to hear about their lavender farm and learn more about Sequim through their many years of living here, but never saw them. We enjoyed reading through the two guest books and discovering a little more history of the rental cottage; people's experiences who had stayed there. Delightful! Very easy check in/check out instructions. We would stay here again.
First time visiting Sequim? We highly recommend going to the Sequim Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Center! The people there are so knowledgeable about the area, very friendly and have multiple maps and lots of information to share; making exploration of the area even better. We also highly recommend a visit to Suzon's Coffee Lounge (eclectic) for a delicious cup of coffee plus her homemade whip creme and Spanish chocolate, used in her drinks, is WOW!!! Port Williams was our favorite beach location to visit! Beach walk either direction is stunning! A tip at the Visitor's Center enabled us to find the Sequim elk herd too! We had an absolutely wonderful weekend in Sequim!!!
Great location, great view, very cozy
Super cozy space with all the essentials overlooking Sequim. As a single female traveller I felt very safe in the neighborhood and in the space even with the big glass windows which give a great view. Perfect amount of furnishings and amenities for 1-2 people. Everything was easy here. Close to town, no traffic, space heated up quickly with the thermostat, safe area, still felt rural with deer in the front yard! I loved being able to walk down to eat dinner at Nourish. And I loved the lavender theme and getting to try out some of their bath products and teas. I only wish they had a tea kettle. I would love to stay here again this time with my partner!
Comfortable and great location for exploring the area
The cottage was in a great location in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Sequim, and had all the accommodations we were looking for, including kitchen utensils/cooking ware and reliable WIFI. If you're visiting the area, we would definitely recommend it!
Outdoor activities, Olympic Discovery Trail minutes away and hiking nearby - property located on the North Olympic Peninsula
