Villa with Pool & Panoramic Lake View

As you are aware our villa has 3 dinning areas, inside it has a large table that easily seats 10, it also has the kitchen terrace and a further portico down by the pool with table and chairs so you are spoilt for choice on places to eat and relax, inside or out, Nigel

Sarah Many thanks for your lovely review of our property. We are glad that you all enjoyed the villa, its private pool and stunning views. Apologies about the Spa bath and tumble dryer, our managers encountered maintenance issues with both during the season and getting spares at short notice was an issue.

As you state in your review you contacted us in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, when the season was finished and our villa had been closed up for 2 weeks due to COVID and asked if you could arrive that night, our property manager went above and beyond going to the villa on a Saturday evening and prepared the property as best he could with so little notice, he made up beds and cleaned as best they could with short notice. Our property is located in a stunning location on a hillside above the lake with trees around it, so in season we regularly treat the property for ants but this was just not possible with no notice of your booking. Our pool had a brand new heating system installed this year and our property manager tried to start the boiler to get the pool up to temperature for you. Unfortunately despite many efforts both on Saturday night and then again on Sunday morning, which you were fully aware of he was unable to start the heater. He then called the engineer who was only able to attend on Tuesday morning (when you decided to leave without any notification or communication with us) The pool heater had an airlock that was cleared and reset and the heater was turned on for your use. To get a negative review like this when we and our management team went above and beyond, outside of the normal holiday season that has been decimated by Covid , both to get the property ready for you and then to try to get the pool heating working is grossly unfair. It looks to me like you decided to leave as the weather was not kind to you for the few days you were in Italy, why you would expect any money back when you did not communicate any of your frustrations with us is a mystery, we responded to all of your questions and queries on a Saturday afternoon to facilitate your stay, but you never contacted us again after that with any complaint, you just left a poor review. It does make you wonder why we bothered to put the effort in to start with.

Thank you very much for your evaluation. I'm glad I enjoyed your tie there during Christmas. Of course, we will examine the supplies for the house with our property manager and buy more items for the Villa.
