Most of the year we make our home in Jamaica Plain, Ma with our 15 year old daughter and the family dog, Stella. We are Realtors and principals of Cervone Deegan & Associates, a team at Coldwell Banker in Jamaica Plain, selling real estate in Greater Boston for over 3 decades. We have been together for 23 years and married on May 17 in 2004 along with the first lucky couples who married that day. We have been coming to Ptown long before we met, and together as often as we can every year for over 2 decades.
Constance Cervone purchased this condo in 1996
We fell in love with this little bit of paradise and called it our ocean hideaway from our first days there. In the quiet and green of the west end, this jewel-like one bedroom sits at the corner of lovely Atwood Square and West Vine Street. With a Secret Garden-like entry, the brick walkway and lush patio lead to the private covered porch. With 2 floor-to-ceiling screen doors and 6 windows, the light, breezes, and the setting have kept us there even though we have long outgrown it! Open and airy, we have furnished to space for comfort and beauty to ensure a fabulous vacation for all who stay or visit.
The ocean hideaway offers the very best of Provincetown in location and amenities. The Bedroom offers a peek at the public bay and beach a half a block away - Captain Jack's Wharf, one of Provincetown's most charming settings and where a long string of painters and writers have found their inspiration. Another few doors away find Relish, the West End's favorite spot for gourmet breakfast, lunch and baked goods and Victor's on West Vine and Bradford Street (1/2 block after a left out the door) is an excellent neighborhood restaurant. A 10-minute walk west reveals the jetty and the moors, stunning places to walk, fish and take photographs, and the fabled Red Inn with its perennial garden, deck over the bay and fine dining to water views. Just past that, around Pilgrim's Landing at the rotary, the road leads to some of the finest beaches accessible on foot, or by bicycle, car or shuttle. Walk east in the opposite direction, the hideaway is a skip into town to restaurants, the Boat Slip, shows and shops, all the action Provincetown is famous for, 10 minutes on foot and yet far enough away from the Madding Crowd. As Realtors, home owners, parents and Provincetown devotees, we have not found a better spot than the ocean hideaway. Our daughter calls it the best place to unwind!
This little condo is a charming and comfortable place, ideally suitable for a couple or a couple with one child. It is supplied with everything you need for a home-base for your P-town vacation. It's not super-fancy, but it's clean, convenient and cozily nestled in a friendly corner of the west-end. It has a great little private deck. The owner was helpful and communicative, and she gave clear complete information about the details of getting there and staying there. Highly recommended.
The condo was exactly as the photos show. Great décor and very clean. The location couldn't be better - very close to all the action on Commercial Street, but quiet at night. The private deck was the best. The owners were great to work with. Highly recommend for your visit to P Town.
We just returned from a wonderful week in P'Town. This apartment is lovely. It is perfectly situated and allowed us to walk to all dinners and shopping - the beach is a short 3-4 minute drive away. The outdoor spaces are delightful: we especially liked morning coffee in the back garden and dinner on the porch. We enjoyed the view of the beach from the bedroom. We hope to come again soon.
This cozy one bedroom condo is beautifully and comfortably furnished. Looks just like the pictures. Really enjoyed the back deck and quiet, peaceful back yard. Perfect for morning coffee. Neighborhood very nice (street a bit busy, little noisy in morning, nothing serious). The owners were easy and delightful to work with. Just a few emails and deal was done. Have stayed at a number of places in PTown. This is first place we want to and will rent again.
Highly recommend this adorable one bedroom condo. The unit is very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Loved the deck and quiet back yard, perfect for morning coffee. Great location, just a few blocks to town and West End beaches. Very peaceful at night, but street a bit busy mornings. The owners we delightful and easy to work with. Perfect spot for couple!
This light-filled one bedroom is in the most optimum of locations: the West End, minutes to town beaches - a half block to Captain Jack's Wharf, 5 minutes to the Boatslip, Flyer's Boat Rental and a 10 minute walk to town with the best access to all Ocean beaches, the jetty and bike path. In spite of its proximity to town, the West End boasts quiet, tree lined streets that run to the bay offering a heavenly stroll to beaches and starlit nights by the water.
Neighborhood conveniences within a block or two of this Guest retreat include Relish (ultra popular gourmet bakers and purveyors of finest lunch and breakfast foods to go), the Beachcomber Gale Force bike shop and rental, the West End Race Club (sailing club for kids), and just a few blocks from Victor's and the Red Inn - among Provincetown's most popular restaurants.
