Bairro do Tróino is one of the most characteristic and old neighborhoods in the city of Setúbal, dating back to the Roman period, due to its proximity to the riverside and central area of Setúbal, it is an area with a lot of traditional commerce and catering establishments based on the making of fish, is the ideal place to enjoy your holidays or a weekend getaway, just a few seconds walk away, you will find typical restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, traditional shops, pharmacy, ATM, leisure areas.
It is an area with free parking and well served by public transport. A few meters away, you will find the main artery of the city, Av. Luísa Todi, full of restaurants, bars, shops and cultural activities.
Setúbal is a city that is inserted in the so-called Costa Azul privileged for its dream beaches of Serra da Arrábida and is 45 minutes from the city of Lisbon, by car or train.

Relax, stroll and taste the flavors of Setubal, especially the famous fried cuttlefish; know the whole Baixa and riverside area; enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with crystal clear water and white sand, and run through the breathtaking Serra da Arrábida running, walking or cycling. Also visit Tróia - in this short 15-minute trip by ferry-boat or Catamaran you may be lucky enough to see the friendly dolphins that inhabit the bay of Setúbal. Tróia has wonderful beaches, a casino, a golf course and the Roman ruins.

- Bus (TST 562): 40 min. from Gare do Oriente | € 3.90 one way | The bus stops at the bus station which is 15 min. walk from the house or you can take bus 609 (€ 1.35 one way) to Av. Luisa Todi.

- Train (Fertagus): 50 min. from Rome / Areeiro | 4,35 € one way | the train stops at Setúbal station which is 20 min. walk from the house. You can take the bus 609 (€ 1.35 one way) or a taxi (up to € 4.50).

- Car: 40 min. via the A2 (25 de Abril Bridge) or A12 (Vasco da Gama Bridge).
