Adorable Andora
Great location! Tastefully appointed rooms. Though not our original plan, it was just the two of us staying for the five days. (One couple abruptly ended their stay, before even getting to house,due to contracting COVID.)
I made dinner all 5 nights we were there. Booths is a great store. We caught a movie at the Regal and enjoyed the quirkiness of the theater. The bus system allowed us to get everywhere we wanted to go and was so close. Walking around the neighborhood was enjoyable.
We were befuddled by the heating system but Alice cleared that up. The only disappointment was the washer and dryer which failed us. We ended up going to a laundromat but have been told we’ll be reimbursed. We never found the “black plastic bags” we used the black bag that was already in the container but did not find another one for the bottles or plastic. We just put them in the trash container outside. I did buy paper napkins and paper towels.
The welcome gifts were very appreciated and consumed during our stay. Lovely accommodations. Were we ever to be in Bowness on Windermere, we would certainly want to call Andora our home again. Thank you!
