Outside has a lawned garden and gravelled area with furniture, as well as roadside parking. 5 Coley Lane is a wonderful choice for a country break to Staffordshire. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

We stayed at Little Haywood over Christmas New Year. The cottage was exactly as advertised it, had everything you need to be comfortable & warm Neighbourhood was very quiet, quick walk down to the canal. The local farm shop in Great Hayward provided all our groceries and fresh produce. There are many country walks and pubs close by. We requested a few Christmas decorations and this was done for us which gave the cottage a real Christmas feel. Thank you As advertised the stairs to the main bedroom are steep and you need to climb into the bath to have a shower. These need to be taken into consideration if you have any mobility issues.

5 stars for location and overall unit layout. Very substandard management compared with our other VRBO stays. She never sent the instructions for keys. So, late on our checkin day, we had to frantically call her office ... which was closed. Once we finally connected and accessed the unit, we were greeted by two enormous spiders with webs all over the tub. Yuck! Clearly, the manager had not bothered to visit the unit for quality control before we arrived! And she was totally unapologetic about not providing proper soaps for the shower which have always been provided to us by VRBO hosts. Great location for our travel plans, but not a great experience.
