The cottage is full of character and is situated in the lovely hamlet of Kerbourbon in the countryside, just 3 miles from the market town of Baud.

The cottage is within easy reach of the medieval towns of Vannes, Pontivy, Hennebont and Josselin, beautiful beaches and the many attractions of the Gulf of Morbihan including Carnac with its famous ancient stones, Brittany's equivalent to Stonehenge and its Grand Plage voted one of the top 20 beaches in France.


The nearby Blavet Valley which is renowned for its Carp fishing and its ancient forests offers some fantastic walks and bike rides, within Camors forest is the adventure park which is great fun for children and adults alike. If you are looking for a golfing holiday you won't be disappointed with the golf courses situated around the cottage.

With the reconstructed medieval village of 'Poul Fetan' you can travel back in time to see a different way of life for the Breton people.

Auray - St Goustan is always recommended with a great lively market held every Monday morning where afterward you can sample the local crepes or seafood over looking this historically famous port know for its art studios, watching the 'world and his wife walk by'.

This Brittany holiday cottage provides a large double bedroom with a king-size bed on the first floor which has exposed beams and en-suite.

Downstairs its all open plan and feels very spacious with exposed beams throughout plus 2 additional bedrooms on the ground floor one having another king-size bed, the other a twin and additional family bathroom. With downstairs facilities, La Veille Maison is suitable for those wishing ground floor living accommodation.

The rear door of the property leads you to your own private south-facing terrace where you can soak up the sun in private, the terrace gives you access to the garden, heated swimming pool, and a laundry room.

The swimming pool is secure to prevent access to young children while playing in the garden and has roman steps leading into the shallow end to provide confidence for those learning to swim.

The cottage is equipped with a widescreen TV-DVD player, English television, plus a selection of books for all ages and a few board games to entertain. A well-equipped kitchen comprising of a fridge freezer, Microwave cooker, dishwasher, and gas cooker.

Additional extras provided at the cottage - we provide a towel hire service, prices can be found within our booking form and end-of-let cleaning service if required, both are chargeable during your stay.

Outside in the garden is a BBQ, a Badminton set, and a children's play area.
