substantially smaller than photos suggest. Bedroom door handle hanging off. Flooring very poor and lifting. Noisy location but nice view

Great Beach and Oceanview Property!

We stayed at this property early December 2022 and had a wonderful time in this old quaint town of Ericeira. It was raining every day but we were prepared with a nice rain coat and the weather was still warmer than where we live in Northern California. This property is located next to Hotel Vila Gale and within 2-3 minutes walk to Praia dos Pescadores Beach! There are a few VRBO rentals in this building with the similar apartment layouts on every floor. We were on the back side on the 3rd floor with two views out to the ocean. This one particular bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed which we were in heaven. They also provide extra large shower towels and hand towels, no facial towels (we always bring our own facial towels and favorite soap bar whenever we travel to Europe by way of VRBO rentals). The only negative here is that the shower has no door closure so the water does get out into the wood floor of the apartment entrance. We saw that the wooden were rotten with black moles. The owner really should replace the wood floor with tiles to avoid this consistent problem. We were worrying about being exposed to black moles. As a result, we took our showers by crouching down to avoid spreading the water into the wood floor. Otherwise, everything was expected of the apartment description, clean white linen bedding and nice comforter. They do have a separate plugin heater in case you feel cold at night.

Schöne Aussicht - Appartement etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Der Aufenthalt war ok. Highlight ist die kleine Terrasse mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Alles sehr sauber, schöne Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Aber: Das Schlafsofa ist eine Zumutung und das Appartement ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist es in Ordnung.
