Newly remodeled 2-bedroom apartment in what is arguably the best location for visitors in Cali - El Peñon - the upscale zona rosa.
This gorgeous and well-lit apartment has 2 bedrooms, one with a large queen bed and the other with two single beds, which can be pushed together to form a king. All beds are 2 meters long to ensure a comfortable night's sleep, even for tall people.
The kitchen opens up into the living room with the bar serving as a dining table.
In the living room, a brand-new 40" Samsung smart TV with Youtube, Netflix, 100 channels, etc. make up the entertainment center. The surrounding furniture makes a great place to relax, read or watch TV.
A 10 MB internet connection is at your service - perfect for working, streaming, downloading, etc.
Once you rent it, the entire space is your yours. Treat it like home, but most importantly, feel like home. Invite friends over and have fun.. all I ask is that you are considerate to the neighbors.
There are 1.5 bathrooms, and the shower is nice and hot!
The common area features a nice pool and the only danger here is that you will not want to leave again.
As we are a business, we charge and pay the local 19% sales tax here in Colombia. If you want to avoid paying the tax you will need to present your passport when you arrive so that we can make a copy of the ID page and the entry stamp. This proves you are a tourist, and exempt from the tax. Your concierge will ask to take a photo of these pages at check-in.
40 dining options and most of the city's main attractions within walking distance, assure you'll never get bored.
I work in the area every day so if you need me, feel free to reach out - I'm happy to help. Also, a pet project of mine has been the blog - The Cali Adventurer - where I share tips on how to have the best time in Cali: Sights, guides, restaurant and nightlife recommendations, weekend trips, etc. I hope you will check it out!
El Peñon is awesome and so is the location of this apartment. It's the premium hotel district in Cali and for very obvious reasons:
It's less than one block from the park where locals play music and sing every night. Every Sunday, local artists exhibit their work around the park.
Within a 3 block radius, you will find more than 40 dining options, 10 bars and cocktail lounges, artisan ice cream shops, bakeries and coffee shops.
A supermarket and a pharmacy are also just around the corner, and most of the city's sights can be reached by foot, like the Cali Cat park, The Historic Downtown, San Antonio, The Cali Zoo, Museo La Tertulia and the hike up to Cali's Three Crosses.
Public buses pass by just outside the main door. The city has 20.000+ taxis and more than 1.000 Ubers, all if which cost $2-4 dollars to take you almost anywhere you'd wish to go.
