Beautiful guesthouse located in quiet neighborhood. Near U Bahn, grocery stores and English Garden. Great place to stay and enjoy everything Munich has to offer. The house itself is clean, modern and has more than enough amenities which make, eating in and doing laundry easy. 10/10 would stay at again!
It was charming and delightful
Very comfortable and convenient to the U ban. The animal on the keychain would not fit in the little box.. jane
The Little Guesthouse was very nice, functional and roomy. It was quiet and proximity to the English Gardens for walking and beer garden very enjoyable.
Just a few Euros spent on a clothes rack to dry /air washing and a couple of hooks to hang bath towels - details which may seem insignificant to some - would help convenience.
The location is a bit ‘residential’ in that there is no local shopping or restaurant street which without a car may be difficult for some.
Situated in the rear yard of an apartment building may also be off-putting for some but it was certainly very quiet and we saw nobody else. We remained respectful of our surrounds and endeavoured to be good neighbors.
Overall a very nice place but important to consider the location which may not be the best for you depending on your plans - ie if you wNt to walk to restaurants, groceries etc.
I would like to provide a little information. There is a small supermarket with everything one might need right across the street (2min walk). Unfortunately since it is privately owned it is closed the last two weeks in August and first week of September for vacation which is inconvenient for the guesthouse during these three weeks.
There are two beergardens within 10 min walk to the guesthouse and one restaurant that is open during the day right across the street as well. Instructions to the places near by are in the house. Granted it is not in the middle of the city and yes in a more residential area. The next area with all kinds of restaurants and shoppers by us two stops with the underground near by.

Karin could not have been a more gracious host. And this little 'guesthouse' should be on your top choices to stay while in Munich (regardless of where in Munich you're planning to stay.) This is in a quite residential area on the West side of the Garden, quite and close to anything you would want to do courtesy of the U-Bahn stop just a 5 min walk from the Guesthouse (it is a small guesthouse in the back of a small Apt building - though you wouldn't know anyone was even staying in the building.) With bike rentals you are less than 5 minutes bike to a large grocery/dept store center, the entrance to the Englishner Garden is 2 mins as well as a lovely little neighborhood grocery store run by a lovely lady.
The photos are spot on - the guesthouse is brand new (although the outside is still being completed) with a comfy large bed, storage, tile, hardwood floors, great sound proof windows though perhaps the best part is the small patio off of the bedroom - morning coffee, sun, quite and just a beautiful to start/end the day.
The bed as mentioned is comfy although the bath is bit cramped - perhaps due to the door that swings in. A washer/dryer was installed (as promised) while we were there and it was another great attribute of this guesthouse. Coffee, refrig, sink, stove all were brand new and worked flawlessly. And we would guess the SF would be ~ 600 - good space including a dining room.
So - please don't let the word out how great this place is (as we have another business trip to Munich scheduled in the fall and we'd like this house to be available to us :-)
And lastly - if you'd really like to immerse yourself in the Bavarian culture - bike, cook, shop, relax etc this is a great place to experience all that Munich has to offer.
Karin - thank you !!!!!!!!!! you're the best !!!!!!!!!
