An elegant one bedroom,one bathroom apartment set within a quiet residential cul-de-sac , on the South Coast of the isand.This elegantly appointed apartment is finished to a high standard and features twin beds which can be converted to king sized bed if required. Air-conditioned bedroom, modern appliances, ceiling fans, in bedroom and living room. Safe, Flat screen TV; cable TV, CD and DVD players, telephone. Wireless internet. Granite kitchen counter top and marble bathroom counter top. Maid service is offered twice weekly. Towels and linen are provided. It is also a two minutes leisurely walk from, the serene waters and white sandy shores of Accra Beach, the newly built boardwalk on Accra, restaurants, shopping mall, pubs and banks. The famous St. Lawrence Gap renowned for its nightlife and dining and Rockley Country Club 9-hole Golf course are within 5 minutes drive.

Perfect accommodation in an excellent location

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at this apartment. Lorna kindly arranged a taxi driver to meet us at the arrivals gate which was a nice touch. The accommodation was spotless and had every possible amenity and utensil that you could require. The location was perfect and as described was only 2 or 3 minutes walk away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. There are numerous restaurant's, shops and bars within 5-10 minutes walk and we really did believe that the location could not have been better. It is situated so close to everything whilst surprisingly being far enough away to be quiet and private too. We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation as we genuinely believed that Lorna and Robert have thought of everything and they were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to ensure that we had a perfect stay in Barbados. The Perfect Getaway

We returned from our first (but not last) visit to Cherry Garden Villa brimming with compliments. Our hosts, Lorna and Robert, were gracious, thoughtful and helpful. Their attention to detail in providing immaculate and tastefully decorated accommodations speaks volumes of the care that went in to creating a beautiful "home away from home". The beach really is just a block away. The restaurants, shopping, groceries and buses are all within a short, easy walk. The Gap is just a bit further. The hustle and bustle of the main road disappears as you enter the serenity and beauty of the Cherry Garden property. We were greeted at the airport by Mr. Gregoire at Lorna's suggestion. We were happy to use this taxi service several times during our stay. Also, Colleen, the housekeeper, with her infectious laugh was a delight. Thank you again, Lorna and Robert for the best vacation!

BEAUTIFUL, QUITE ACCOMODATION

We recently returned from a 2 week stay at Cherry Garden Villa. This was our 2nd trip to Barbardos so were quite happy to once again rent a private guest house. Lorna was professional, courteous and was quick to respond to any question we had with the initial booking via email. Arranging the private driver was a nice touch, it was nice to see our name in print when we arrived outside the airport. The pictures do not do the property justice, it is SO clean and just perfect for two people! We rented the one bedroom and it was wonderful. It was a nice touch to have the "in room safe", although we never felt that we needed to lock anything up! The pool was the perfect size for cooling off on the hot days. Having beautiful Accra beach just a minutes walk away was also an added bonus! Remember to bring your own beach towels, this is one thing that I didnt think of (our own fault). There are many local restaurants very close by within walking distance, along with a 24 hour convenience store. The main grocery store Trimark is not that far away, a few minutes by bus or cab. Get out and experience all the Barbados has to offer, transportation is very, very cheap on the mini or big Blue Municipal buses $1.00 U.S. or $2.00 Bajan money. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and other family and hope to return one day soon. Thank you Lorna and Robert for making our stay everything we anticipated and more! Pleasant stay

A very well appointed one bedroom cottage with access to a small pool to cool off. The host Lorna was very helpful and lives onsite so any questions or issues we had were easily dealt with. Thoroughly recommend.

Wow a perfect oasis

This was our fourth holiday in Barbados but our first in renting private accommodation and it won't be our last, this villa was perfect in every way, as so many other reviews have said. The pictures and reviews on line are what I fell in love with but wow it's so much better in real life. Situated down a quiet residential road only a couple of minutes stroll to the wonderful Accra beach and many local restaurants within walking distance or hop on the local buses to those nearby. There are three villas to choose from all beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean with everything you should need to make your stay as comfortable as possible, including the really large amazing comfortable bed, and situated around a lovely pool and well kept gardens, which the owners Lorna and Robert are so proud off. Robert designed the three different types of accommodation which surround their own property, so they are on hand if needed. After a hard day out at the beach 😉 What more could you ask for than to come back home and sit outside on the veranda and wait for the little green monkeys to scamper across! Amazing and can't wait to return and without a doubt one to recommend.

wish I could stay here forever.

Absolutely enjoyed everything this little hidden place in paradise had to offer. Minutes away from the gorgeous (accra )beach and shopping mart. Lorna and family were lovely hosts. Didn't need to ask for anything coz they have everything there to make it a home from home. definitely recommend

A PERFECT OASIS!

We have just returned from a month's wonderful vacation at Cherry Garden Villa, and the very well equipped one bedroom apartment certainly lived up to the web site description and photos. The pool was an added bonus, and just perfect for cooling off from time to time. This was our second visit to Barbados, and decided we wanted to locate in the Rockley area and would not rent a car. This property turned out to be a perfect little oasis of seclusion and privacy in the midst of an area convenient to banks, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Also, Accra Beach and the new boardwalk were only minutes away. Public transportation is also very close at hand. Lorna and Robert were very gracious hosts, and although they are busy professionals they were always available to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Lorna took care of the booking arrangements very efficiently and arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport, which was really appreciated. Colleen the housekeeper is an absolute gem and always made sure we had fresh linens and kept our unit in sparkling condition. Thank you Lorna and Robert for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise with us, and we would recommend this property in a heartbeat. We are working on our bucket list of world locations, but will no doubt return.

Paradise found

We have just "reluctantly" returned from our two week vacation in Barbados, staying at the one bedroom apartment at Cherry Garden Villa. Firstly, we have to say "WOW", everything we read about Cherry Garden Villa Apartment, the previous guest reviews, the description of the property on the HomeAway site, electronic communication with Lorna, turned out to be 100% accurate, and some! Although we have visited Barbados in the past, this was the first time we booked our own accommodation, so we were a little unsure what to expect. Would our choice live up to our expectations? The answer quite simply is Yes it did. The accommodation is laid out within beautifully kept gardens, the pool area cool and enticing. Every room was clean, tastefully decorated, bright and spacious. The property is discreetly tucked away from the main road, but is within easy walking distance to both the long sandy Accra Beach, and an abundance of restaurants to suit all budgets. We enjoyed a combination of eating out and cooking within the apartment. The kitchen had everything needed to cook whatever you fancy, local supermarkets nearby to provide your groceries. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and relatives, as Customer Satisfaction is top of Robert and Lorna's priority list. We will definitely return in the future. 18 days in Eden!

We concur with all of the other positive comments that we reviewed before deciding on Cherry Garden as our vacation destination. This was our first experience with "Home Away" and our only fear is that Cherry Garden may not be available on our next visit. The accommodation was pristine and the location was ideal. The beach was just a few minutes away and anything else one would need such as groceries and refreshments,wonderful restaurants and cafes were all nearby. Assorted buses are available to transport you to virtually any place on the island for two dollars Bajan. Not previously mentioned but yet another plus was the availability of Wi-Fi. Everything you could ask for.

A perfect hideaway for two. We spent three weeks there last February and we are going back again this Febraury for three weeks again. It is self contained and has everything that a person or a couple would need for a perfect holiday. Close to the beach and other ammeneties. Lorna and Robert were the perfect hosts as well

Absolute perfection!

I recently returned from a two week stay at Cherry Garden apartment and I'd like to thank my most pleasant and gracious hosts for creating this superb little paradise. The property is pristine and the accommodation is more than adequate and impecably clean and well equipped.The service and attention to detail was second to none. It was everything, and more, than expected! Situated a few minutes walk from restaurants, shopping, beautiful Accra beach, the beach boardwalk, and the bank, the location is perfect. Thank you for a perfect vacation!

I've just come back from Cherry Garden Villa and I want to thank my gracious and so very thoughtful hosts, Lorna and Robert for a perfect vacation. All the great things reviewers so far have said are absolutely true. The accommodation is pristine, modern and tastefully decorated. Quality appliances and furnishings add to the beauty of these well appointed suites. The gardens are well maintained, the area is quiet, the beautiful Accra beach is just 5 minutes away and the salt water pool .....well... that was the icing on the cake. I felt welcome and pampered. I loved the ease with which I could get from the villa to the market for fresh fish or downtown Bridgetown for shopping or to an elegant restaurant on the water in the Gap or to go sightseeing. I highly recommend this piece of paradise and fully intend to visit again. Lorna and Robert thank you very much.

superbe stay

The perfect place to stay The booking was easy to do and all communications done by email. Lorna helped us to pre-arrange for a taxi at the airport since the Villa is not signed at the roadway. The apartment is clean, perfect for 2 people and all the conveniences needed. The apartment is located just minutes away from the superb Rockley Beach and the boardwalk (perfect for early run or just a long walk). The new pool is also a perfect addition to the place when you want to relax and cool down after a beautiful day or the morning run. We sincerely look forward to returning to Barbados for a visit with them and to another stay at Cherry Garden Studio and would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone.

The perfect place to stay

My husband and I recently returned from our stay at Lorna's Cherry Garden Cottage Apartment...and it will definitely not be our last stay there! We followed her suggestion and were pleased to be delivered to the villa really quickly by Mr Grégoire The apartment has everything as shown and described on Lorna's website; you would not be disappointed. The apartment is located just minutes away from the superb Rockley Beach and the boardwalk (perfect for early run or just a long walk). The new pool is also a perfect addition to the place when you want to relax and cool down after a beautiful day or the morning run. Near the apartment you have a lot or restaurant, grocery stores, banks, etc. all of them are within a few minutes’ walk. Lorna and Robert, who have created this paradis at Cherry Garden are friendly and professionals, who are most attentive and responsive to the needs of their guests. My husband and I recently returned from our six week stay at Lorna's Cherry Garden Cottage Apartment...our third visit in the past three years! This apartment is everything as shown and described on Lorna's website; you would not be disappointed. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished with all the conveniences you would want. This apartment is located just minutes away from beautiful Rockley Beach and the coastal boardwalk (for early morning walks to catch the sunrise). Dining opportunities, mini-malls, grocery stores, banks, etc. are only a short walk away. It is also very close to local bus service which will take you around the island. Lorna and Robert, your hosts, will make you very welcome and your stay in Barbados a memorable one. We have made plans to return again in 2011 and are looking forward to that time.

Great Appartment

I have just returned from my 6th visit to Barbados, 3rd visit staying at this appartment. The owners are very friendly and always make you feel welcome, and happy to help. The appartment is always very clean on arrival and is cleaned twice a week during our stay, very spacious and has everything you need. One of the best beaches on the island is only 5min walk away as are some exellent restaurant/bars. A short(5-10min) taxi or bus journey will take you to 'the gap' which is where you'll find the nightlife! I look forward to visiting again soon and would definately recommend this appartment to a friend and anyone looking for a quiet, safe and comfortable place to stay.

Cherry Garden review

It has been a pleasure to stay at Cherry Garden for a third time. The appartment is always spotless on arrival and cleaned twice weekly during stay. It is light, spacious and well decorated with everything you could need in a holiday home. Just a few minutes walk to one of the islands best beaches, Accra. There are also many restuarants within 5-10 minute walk, would recommend Berts and Bistro Monet. A short bus or taxi ride will have you in 'the gap' which is where the nightlife is. The owners are lovely and always happy to help. I look forward to returning in the future and would recommend this appartment to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable place to stay. Close to all the best bits the South coast has to offer. Sarah

Perfect in everyway

The first time I stayed at the Cherry Garden Villa was "Crop Over" 2008 and it exceeded my expectations. I stayed there again in September 2009 and my experiance was the same. Authentic island feeling with GREAT service....the owner made me feel like family. The property is very clean, modern, quite and close to everything...5-10 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants and 15 minute cab ride to clubs/night life. Great value for your money!!!!

Stayed here in June 2009, very nice clean and comfortable apartment. Very friendly owner who was very helpful. Everything you need, nice quiet location but easy to get out and about. Really enjoyable stay and value for money
