Luxury beachfront villa with a cook and a tennis court

Villa Linucia is a stunning villa on the beach, which sleeps 12 and has a cook, a tennis court and a large swimming pool.

The sandy beach to the left of the house is perfect for swimming and has a great beach bar/restaurant with sunbeds and shades for hire during the summer season.

STAFF
There are two Portuguese- and English-speaking staff, who live in a cottage in the grounds. She will prepare a breakfast of freshly cut fruit and pastries and cook a delicious lunch or dinner. Her partner, the gardener/pool man, will do the food shopping and barbecuing.

THE HOUSE
The villa is spacious and extremely comfortable with a courtyard built around a large swimming pool.

There are six bedrooms, each with an ensuite marble bathroom and five with sea views. Four bedrooms are on the ground floor (two with superking-size beds, one with a double bed and another with twin beds); two bedrooms with twin beds are upstairs.

On the ground floor, there is a generous-sized sitting room, a well-equipped kitchen and a dining room which seats 14. A games room with a full-size billiards/snooker table is on the lower ground floor.

OUTSIDE
The extensive gardens are well-kept with paths running down to the sea.

There are two outside seating and dining areas: one on the terrace overlooking the sea and the other under cover by the pool. Both have a dining table and chairs for 12, as well as a seating area with comfortable wicker armchairs and a coffee table.

There is a hard-surface tennis court, a boules pitch, a large built-in barbecue and a ping pong table under cover by the pool.

AREA
There are some excellent beach bars and restaurants nearby, including one on the beach next to the house and a two-Michelin-starred restaurant at a neighbouring hotel, which also has a spa. Water sports are available just a walk or short drive away on the famous long beach of Praia da Gale. The Salgados golf course is a five-minute drive away with many more golf courses within half an hour by car. The villa is 4km from Albufeira and an upmarket supermarket is just a few minutes’ walk up the road. Faro airport is 40 minutes away.
