Historic Mexico Building Apartment near Ljubljana city center

Our two-bedroom apartment is a great place to stay at! It is located near Ljubljana University Clinical Hospital, just a 20-minute walk from the city centre. With 2 bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area and a bathroom, it is ideal for families or small groups of friends. Towels and linens, as well as free wireless, are all included!


Mexico Apartment is a great deal! It is located on the second floor (no elevator) of the historical building and therefore it offers a nice view of the surrounding area. It has 1 bedroom with a king size bed, a TV and a sofa, where an extra bed can be prepared for 1 more person (15,00 eur/person/day). The second bedroom comes with a bunk bed for two more people. The apartment is originally suitable for 4 people, but with an additional sofa bed it can host maximum 5 people. Fully equipped kitchen comes with the dining area. There is also a bathroom with a bath. It is ideal for families or small groups of friends. Towels and linens, as well as free wireless, are all included!

You will love staying at this place in a really good location. The heart of Ljubljana city centre is a few minutes’ walk away, but still, the apartment is located in an area that is accessible by cars and has public parking all around. In the vicinity, there is a grocery shops, pubs and restaurants with vibrant local scene as well as public transportation (a bus stop) and a public bike-rental spot. Just across the street, there is Saint Peter’s Church, Ljubljanica flood gate can be observed from the nearest bridge and there are various buildings in the area, that are part of Ljubljana’s main hospital.
You will enjoy staying at our Mexico Apartment and you will love Ljubljana, European Green Capital 2016 and Slovenia, European Region of Gastronomy 2021.
You will leave Mexico Apartment with a smile on your face and wish you could come back soon. Of course we’ll meet again then!

Brilliant service!

First time in Ljubljana visiting our son who is studying here for the year. Beautiful city, everything within walking distance and lots of restaurants/bars to choose from. The Union brewery tour was a highlight! The Mexico Building Apartment is perfect for families who are looking for a base to explore the city. We will be back 👌

Glorious residence!

L'appartement de Martina Ă©tait trĂšs propre, bien situĂ©, calme, bien dĂ©corĂ© et aĂ©rĂ© au troisiĂšme Ă©tage sans ascenseur. Les lits sont trĂšs confortables. A quelques minutes de marches de tous les lieux historiques. Épicerie au coin de la rue. A un 1 km. de la gare d'autobus pour l'aĂ©roport. 4 euros , autobus numĂ©ro 28 en 30 minutes Martina rĂ©pond rapidement Ă  nos demandes. Le seul problĂšme que nous avons est avec Airbnb qui demande toujours un contrĂŽle de sĂ©curitĂ© avec notre numĂ©ro de tĂ©lĂ©phone pour entrer sur son site et quand nous venons de l'extĂ©rieur, nous n'avons pas toujours accĂšs Ă  notre cellulaire, il faut se trouver une carte simm et le numĂ©ro de contrĂŽle ne correspond plus.! C'est pourquoi, il est important d'avoir les coordonnĂ©es personnelles de notre hĂŽte. Merci Martina

Brilliant service!

Martina's place is very spacious and very clean. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Martina is a very responsive host. The location is close to the train station which was important for us - but the location is busy (also because it is close to the train station and next to a hospital). But the apartment itself is very quiet.

Appartamento un pĂČ decentrato rispetto al centro della cittĂ  , perĂČ in una posizione tranquilla e facilmente raggiungibile oltre che con un Supermercato a 50 metri da casa ( assolutamente impagabile ) Noi eravamo in moto , abbiamo potuto parcheggiare nel cortile interno che alla sera veniva chiuso con un cancello ( molto comodo e sicuro) e in 10 minuti di camminata tranquilla eravamo nel centro di Ljubljana La cittĂ  Ăš bellissima , piena di vita , di giovani e soprattutto pulitissima , assolutamente oltre le nostre aspettative

Glorious residence!

We had a wonderful stay at this very spacious flat. It’s close to the city center and shops, which made getting around easy. The apartment is very clean, beautifully maintained, and well equipped with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. Everything was exactly as described, and it was easy to get to all the best places in Ljubljana.

Brilliant service!

Die Wohnung liegt sehr gut und man kann sehr gut zu Fuß die Stadt erkunden. Damit war sie fĂŒr unseren kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt. Der Zugang zur Wohnung war völlig unkompliziert, und die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin lief reibungslos und freundlich. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hell und schön eingerichtet. Das Treppenhaus könnte eine Renovierung vertragen, aber das hat unseren Aufenthalt nicht wirklich gestört. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, auch wenn wir nur eine Nacht dort waren. Der Preis ist aus unserer Sicht recht hoch, aber das scheint in Ljubljana wohl ĂŒblich zu sein. Insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung – danke fĂŒr die Möglichkeit hier ĂŒbernachten zu dĂŒrfen.

Admirable and clean accommodation!

Wir haben eine halbe Stunde bevor wir in Ljubljana angekommen sind, erfahren dass unsere ursprĂŒngliche Unterkunft storniert wurde. Wir haben dann ganz spontan dieses Apartment gebucht. Die Gastgeberin war sofort per Telefon zu erreichen und hat uns den schnellen spontanen Check In direkt ermöglicht. Es hat alles reibungslos geklappt und wir waren sehr dankbar, so kurzfristig noch einen Schlafplatz gefunden zu haben.

Comfortabla, big flat close to the center

Very clean and large appartment near to Ljubljana center. I recommend it with children. Negativ point that difficult to find parking next to the flat and you have to pay for it mon-sun.

Great location, short walk into centre along the river, flat was lovely, great for our 2 kids and had everything we could need. Martina was really quick to respond to any messages and was flexible about delaying our check out time and hour when our car rental was late. Highly recommend!

Extraordinary journey!

I stayed there with 3 friends for a night. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment but it is very spacious and cozy. It is close to city center, has parking along a nearby street and is overall great choice if you are travelling by car.

Brilliant service!

The apartment is nicely arranged, spacious and has excellent heating. A big plus if you are staying longer is that it has a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. The location is excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are quick in communication and gave us all the necessary information so that we can easily enter the apartment. All recommendations and if we come again we will be happy to stay there again.
