3 bedroom town house, terrace in the beautiful UNESCO town Trogir
This house provides a central location within this old historic town.
Trogir is a very busy town depending on the season with various restaurants, bars, markets, supermarkets and tourist attraction agencies. From here you are able to go to different beaches by walking or boat. A regular boat routine also goes to Split, a fantastic day trip. You can visit different places within Croatia by booking day trips. Trogir has a super day and evening buzzing atmosphere but for those that prefer an early night the house is located in the slightly quieter side of town. There is plenty of payable parking around the island. For those who fly, a car is not essential as all places of interest can be reached by walking or by boat. For other trips further afield the plentiful tourists agencies can fulfil all needs.

We loved our stay! Antonia made the check in process easy. Location is excellent for roaming around Trogir. Clean apartment with lots of space and a little patio for evening dining.

I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay and the house was ideal for your holiday.
What a wonderful stay my husband and our three adult sons had in Trogir! The apartment is centrally located in a beautiful historic section of the city. Everything is nearby and walkable. Gabriel was very attentive to our questions while we were planning our trip. The beds are full size and we realized our adult sons would not want to share so I reached out to Gabriel last minute about any possible availability of a cot. It turned out the couch was able to be turned into a very comfortable bed, which worked out nicely! The only difficulty somebody might have here is that each bedroom is on a different story with steep stairs (especially up to the third floor). There is only one bathroom on the bottom floor, so someone with mobility issues would need to stay on the bottom floor. I did love sitting out on the terrace early in the morning with my coffee listening to the church bells and watching the birds circle the amazing sky. Antonia was very kind and helpful and let us keep our luggage with her the day of check out until it was time for us to depart to our next destination. We would definitely go back!

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Property is not as idyllic as the pictures suggest. Book with caution.
On the plus side: location allows for easy boat trips, lovely bars and restaurants, beaches are within walking distance. One of the bedrooms was just lovely and Antonia who checked us in was helpful.
On the down side: the whole lower level suffers from damp and guests are required to run a noisy dehumidifier 24hrs a day and empty the tank daily too. The toilet is tiny. Anyone bigger than average would find it impossible to use. When there was rain (admittedly heavy rain) the roof leaked and our clothes got wet in the bedroom on the middle floor. The power was not reliable and the air conditioning units made drips in several parts of the small terrace making it hard to sit out there. These issues were raised with the owner who took very little responsibility and shut down the conversation, implying we as guests had done something wrong to make the conditions listed above. It was a very expensive rental for us on a standard budget from the UK and I expected better value for money.

Dear Sian,
Unfortunately during your stay Croatia had a very big storm that lasted all week, very unusual for that time of the year, it was a surprise even for the locals, causing power cuts and perhaps leaks, unfortunately at that time there wasn’t much I could have done. Trogir is very similar to Venice, beautiful location but in big storms it might affect all the island differently. I have seen this occur in the winter but not in summer. The dehumidifier is there if guests would like to use it to maintain a better air quality for their comfort not for damp reduction purposes. It’s up to each guest whether they chose to have it on 24h or not. I am sorry that you couldn’t use the terrace due to the air conditioning unit, a watering can fills up with the condensation from the air conditioning. Unfortunately this was full and caused the drips from the unit, you did not inform Antonia at the time but only when you checked out. This issue could have been sorted out very easily if you had contacted me or Antonia. The house was fully refurbished last year but due to the year of build and construction of the house the toilet is smaller then usual, but plans to install another one are on the way. So far you are the only guest unhappy with the value for money aspect, I believe for 6 guests it is good value. I will keep the price under consideration in the future.
Thank you for your feedback.
