Lovely house in a beautiful garden

We (a couple from Germany) stayed in the little house Tra Gli Olivi. This house is located in the middle of a beautiful garden. It is fully equipped (we did not miss a single thing) and really lovely decorated. We immediately felt comfortable there. Furniture and equipment are in good shape and everything is very clean. We did appreciate that very much. There is a little terrace at the front of the house where you can have all your meals while enjoying the surroundings. The big neat garden accommodates a large number of old olive trees which give it a very special touch. Numerous chairs invite you to relax. In addition, you have the possibility to do some sports in the garden. There is a basketball ground, table tennis, table soccer and much more. The property is located in a quiet part of the village. There is some shopping in walking distance (a good bakery, pharmacy, etc.). Bigger supermarkets are only a couple of minutes away by car. Thus, getting your supplies for the holiday is easy. The location of the property gives you easy access to both, the beach and the mountains. The beach as well as the mountains are in short driving distance. We did several tours into the mountains where all kinds of hikes led us through beautiful scenery with sometimes stunning views. Saving the best for the end of this review: our hosts. Gemma and Andrea are very friendly and helpful landlords. They offered good advice for some trips into the mountains as well as for visits to the villages around. We did enjoy our chats with them at different occasions very much. They really want you to enjoy your holiday at their property.

Tolle Gastgeber, super Urlaub

Im August machten wir Urlaub in der Toskana. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen! Tolle Gastgeber, die sich sehr viel Mühe geben, den Aufenthalt für ihre Gäste so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Sehr gute Tipps für das erkunden der Umgebung! Zwei Gastgeber die sich mit der Region perfekt auskennen! Das Haus super sauber, super Gegend, super Garten, gute Ruhe Möglichkeiten, top Gastgeber! Gerne immer wieder!

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Das Haus „Antico Borgo“ ist wunderschön, liebevoll und traditionell gebaut. Es ist sehr sehr sauber, geräumig, sehr mit Liebe gepflegt und vor allen absolut ruhig gelegen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und enthielt alles was wir benötigten. Es gibt einen großen Garten mit mehren Obst- und Olivenbäume, Wal- und Haselnussbaum, Trauben, Rosmarin, Salbei, alles was das Herz begehrt. Wir konnten uns auf die Sitz- und Liegestühle unter der Bäumen oder dem Sonnenschirm wunderbar erholen, oder einfach ans Meer nach Forte dei Marmi gefahren. Die Hausbesitzer, Gemma und Andrea sind sehr fürsorglich, rücksichtsvoll und immer bedacht, dass es uns gut geht. Wir haben mehrere super tolle Empfehlungen für Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Tagesausflüge bekommen, die sehr hilfreich waren. Jederzeit gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Unvergesslich, wie die sich um unsere Tochter gekümmert haben, als die einmal einen Schwächeanfall hatte. Danke nochmal dafür. Die Einwohner sind freundlich und hilfsbereit, es macht Freude diese Region zu entdecken und kennen zu lernen. Toskana ist wunderschön, tolle Städte und Landschaften, wunderbare alte Dörfer und sehr schöne Strände. Wie schon Goethe sagte: „Die Toskana liegt nicht in Italien, sondern Italien in der Toskana!“ Es hat einfach alles gepasst, wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden gerne wieder kommen.

The perfect place!!!

We have been travelling to Italy for some time now and this is by far the best place we ever stayed, everything was perfect! The ancient house has charm, but also all modern facilities. It was very clean, tastefully decorated and Gemma and Andrea were the perfect hosts! All from waiting for us, even though we were very late to inviting us for a homemade cake or some bruschetta with their own olive oil and...even more! They are so nice and did everything possible to make us feel welcomed and "at home" in every way, but never being intrusive. The house is set in a beautiful and quite surrounding, with a huge garden and olivegrove all around, but everyhing is a few minutes walk. You have spectacular views from the windows and the garden of the Apuan Alps at short distance, just like the sea, with its fantastic sandy beaches. There is also a lot to do nearby if you want to: some of Europe's biggest caves, pictoresque villages, lively towns as Pietrasanta and beautiful art cities as Lucca, Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano. The 5 Terre a must! We would highly recomend this farmhouse for anyone looking for a peacefull place to enjoy his holiday at full. Thank you again Gemma and Andrea! Sfeervol huis gevuld met brocante.

De eigenaresse Gemma is een liefhebster van antiek en brocante, spreekt goed Engels en is zeer gastvrij. Het is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan Lucca, Pistoia maar vergeet vooral Pietrasanta niet. Wat ons betreft een stuk leuker dan het over-the-top Forte Dei Marmi.

A perfect place

We stayed at Antiche Travi for one week. It was our first time in this beautifull place but won't be the last. The house and their owners (Gemma and Andrea) are just perfect. They made us feel very welcome from start on. The appartment is beautiful, very clean and everything you need is in it and more. Gemma and Andrea are very helpfull in giving you tips about the surroundings. Lots of nice places to visit very nearby, the beach is only a 5 minute drive away from the house and also very clean and comfortable. We wil defenatly go back when visiting Italy and Toscany. Wundervoll!

Die schöne Wohnung hat 2 Schlafzimmer, eines mit Doppel- und eines mit zwei getrennten Betten. In der gut and typisch eingerichtet Küche mangelt es an nichts. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber. Der Garten (3000qm) ist sehr ordentlich und bietet reichlich Schatten, was bei sommerlichen Temperaturen sehr angenehm ist. Die Vermieter, Gemma und Andrea, wohnen mit auf dem Gelände, sie sind wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten aufgezeigt, die in unserem Reiseführer nicht erwähnt wurden. Wir saßen einige Abende mit ihnen zusammen, haben gegessen getrunken und viel gelacht. Außer Italienisch wird Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch gesprochen. Pietrasanta ist wunderschön : eine Stadt voller Kunst und mit sehr bunter Atmosphare. Pisa und Lucca (sehenswert!) sind nah, Florenz 1 Stunde weg. Le Cinque Terre! Siena! Alles atemberaubend! Das Meer? Super! Die Alpen? Auch! Fazit: ein wirklich toller Urlaub!

Il fascino di ieri con tutte le comodità di oggi!

La casa colonica Antico Borgo è veramente bella, si respira il passato, ma con tutte le comodità del presente. E’ circondata da oliveti e il grande giardino, con vista sulle Alpi Apuane, è attrezzato di tutto il necessario per godere della tranquillità del luogo, anche se a pochi minuti da tutti i servizi e luoghi di intrattenimento e cultura delle Versilia. E’ arredata con buon gusto, stile ed originalità, pur nel rispetto delle antiche origini del casale..Abbiamo trovato il nostro appartamento molto pulito, accogliente e rilassante: ci siamo subito sentiti “a casa”! Molto socievoli i proprietari, Gemma ed Andrea, che ci hanno accolti con grande affabilità, pronti a fornirci preziose informazioni sul luogo e a trascorrere con noi piacevoli momenti, davanti a una tazza di caffè e una torta fatta in casa. Antico Borgo è la base ideale per chi ama il mare, la montagna e le città d’arte toscane (Lucca, Pisa, Firenze, Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano sono facilmente raggiungibili). A 5 minuti dal casale, Pietrasanta, che merita più di una visita serale: la Piazza del Duomo si anima di bella gente e Sant’Agostino diventa l’ideale location per concerti e mostre. Non va dimenticata un’escursione alle Cinque Terre, magari in battello!. Abbiamo trascorso una fantastica vacanza in questo angolo di Toscana e sicuramente torneremo all’Antico Borgo, per continuare a scoprire le bellezze della zona o semplicemente per rilassarci nel verde che circonda questo antico casale.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage in der Toskana! Wir waren für 11 Nächte in dieser wirklich sehr schönen Ferienwohnung. Wir wurden nach der Anreise von unseren Gastgebern sehr herzlich empfangen und fanden ein sehr schönes und sehr typisch ausgestattetes Ferienhaus in ruhiger und dennoch zentraler Lage. Ein Bauernhaus mit drei Wohnungen, komplett und wunderschön restauriert . Die Innenräume sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet worden. Es war alles sehr sauber. Handtücher, Bettzeug alles da. Zum freien Strand sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß, bietet viel Platz zum spielen und man hat einen schönen Blick auf die umgebenden Hügel und Alpi Apuane. Die Lage des Hauses eignet sich perfekt für Fahrten nach Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, Florenz, Siena und 5 Terre. Pietrasanta ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit einem gemütlichen Dorfplatz wo sich alles trifft. Das Meer erreicht man schnell. Zum freien Strand sind es ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto Die Vermieter waren total unkompliziert, kontaktfreudig und sehr aufmerksam, aber sehr diskret gewesen,. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und können das Haus/die Wohnung absolut empfehlen! Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wünschen der Familie weiterhin viel Erfolg, alles Gute und werden im nächsten Jahr auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Voyage inoubliable

Très belle maison de pierre, les appartements sont décorés par la maitresse de maison avec goût et raffinement. Le jardin est spacieux, un vraie oasis de détente. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en Toscane grâce à un accueil exceptionnel et des tas de petites attention de la part de nos hôtes. De belles soirées passées à discuter, à partager et à rigoler. Nous vous recommandons ce gîte... de vrais belles personnes en ont la gestion.

Toskana wie man sie sich vorstellt

Das Appartment "Alpi Apuane" war unsere letzte Station einer 5 wöchigen Italien Rundreise - und es war ein super Abschluss. Das Haus ist traumhaft eingebettet in einem riesigen, urigen Garten voller Olivenbäume der wunderbar zum Relaxen ist und auch super zum Erkunden für die Kinder. Das Haus selbst ist einladend stilvoll und mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Selbstverständlich alles sehr gepflegt und sauber - man sieht auf den ersten Blick, dass das Anwesen den Besitzern sehr am Herzen liegt. In meinen Augen ein Paradebeispiel wie man sich die Toskana vorstellt und vorzufinden wünscht. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern Gemma und Andrea war sehr angenehm und herzlich & Gemma hat sich aussergewöhnlich viel Zeit genommen um uns Tipps zur Erkundung der Umgebung zu geben. Wir würden / werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und können das Haus besten Gewissens weiter empfehlen. Christian, Katrin & Co

Ein traumhaftes Anwesen am Fuße der Alpi Apuane

Die Wohnung Antiche Travi im Haus Antico Borgo hält, was die Fotos und Beschreibung versprechen und übertrifft diese Erwartungen sogar noch. Es ist eine wunderbare, liebevoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem Komfort. Gäste können sich wie zuhause fühlen. Auch der Garten bietet alles, was man an Entspannung oder Freizeitgestaltung benötigt. Auch die Nähe sowohl zu den Bergen als auch zum Meer macht den Wohnort höchst attraktiv. Besser kann es nicht sein! Die Vermieterin Gemma ist ebenfalls toll: zuvorkommend und fürsorglich, Wünsche werden quasi von den Augen abgelesen. Agréable séjour au milieu des oliviers

Très belle propriété dans les oliviers, très bien décorée , confortable et propre. Bien équipé. Les propriétaires Gemma et Andréa, très sympathiques, Matteo le garçon de la maison très discret mais intéressant.Séjour instructif, fait de belles découvertes grâce aux conseils précieux de Gemma et Andréa . Si vous aimez la Toscane, la mer et les richesses architecturales, posez vos bagages chez Gemma et Andréa, vous serez très bien accueillis.
