What makes this property unique
Le Chalet was the first chalet in Vallandry built in the Savoyard style in 1960, and the first chalet used for tourism! Since it was built it has undergone a complete transformation into the beautiful chalet it is today but the exterior still retains that wonderful sense of history.
Le Chalet has been very well designed with a dedicated boot room with boot heaters and direct access out so you can put your skis on at the chalet and ski straight from the door to catch the lift. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a large dining table to seat up to 12 people. The lounge has 2 areas, a quiet reading nook and a larger family area with a real closed log fire.
Upstairs there are a 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles (2 of which have en-suite shower rooms) and a children's room with 2 bunk beds to sleep 4. On this level is a family bathroom plus a shower room. There is a separate apartment downstairs which can be used as part of the chalet or kept separate.
The chalet boasts a sauna and a beautiful outside hot tub on the terrasse.
There is private parking for 3 cars outside the chalet and you are only a 2 minute walk down into the centre of the resort.
The chalet is sold on a self catered basis but if you would like catering please ask as we can arrange this for you. Bread and croissants can be delivered to your door every morning (winter only). We can pre-order discounted lift passes, equipment hire and arrange lessons or mountain bike guiding so all you have to do is turn up and enjoy your stay.
